I agree with that, but I also think that a part of his reaction is the fact that he just lied to Jesse about poisoning a kid, and the relief he has when Jesse leaves because he doesn't have to lie anymore.
Brock would have been fine, there has been no reported case of ANYONE dying from lily of the valley. It will make you very sick for a time but Walt new the kid would be fine. If Walt hadnt done that he would be dead. So Its unethical but its not the worst trade off ever.
That is absolutely one of the most stunning shocks I have ever had in any show EVER. I’ve never had my opinion about a character shift so violently and unexpectedly.
