The song they really played the longest in their set was Long Tall Sally, it’s the only song from their Hamburg days that made it all the way to their last paid live performance in Candlestick Park, 1966
They pretty much just did the same show all through their touring years. Only occasionally adding new songs in. So those covers were just holdovers from beginning when they didn't have many of their own hits.
@@never152 oh yeah pretty much. I’m always liked how they kept long tall Sally in the set though. When they recorded it they needed only one take since they were so damn tight on it from years of practice

@@ivannagutierrez1009 Hi, in this video of The Beatles performances it is sung by JOHN LENNON in 1963. Do you know about The Beatles and all their music? What country are you from please 🙏
They were such an amazing performers.... specially in the later years as evitable in Get Back series. They should have keep on performing live. I bet it would have hugely influenced the wavy and blurry pop culture of the 80s . + They would have surely revolutionised the art of live performance.
They decided to stop performing live so they could innovate in their music and not have to worry about it being replicable live. I think it would have been good, but many of their songs wouldn't be able to be played in concert.
@@lemoneproductions420 Not exactly the same, but I think many songs could still be replicated live perfectly (Look "While My Guitar..."). And in fact Paul, John and George after the beatles broke up continued to perform their beatles in concerts, so it is possible that they could still do amazing things live with their songs especially in the 70s if had stayed together of course ... PD: Also the fact that they would have had to manage to play songs (in 70s) like "Tomorrow Never Knows" in concerts would have made it very interesting.
@@lemoneproductions420 They could have keyboards and Synthesizer's programmed to play backwards guitars. They could have played any Beatles song with the technology now and even before. On 1966 tour they had taxman, rain, she said she said, here, there and everywhere, im only sleeping, for no one. But played rock n roll music, long tall Sally....no wonder they said that's it no more on the road folks
Ringo was a machine dude, not the most technical drummer in the world. The Beatles are the greatest, most important and most successful band of all time. Lennon and McCartney are the greatest songwriters ever, aswell as being great vocalists and musicians.
