thank you for taking the time to review this
Yeiddi yes of course!
Hobart, based on your review I'm about to order one of these bastards. I can tell you're giving an honest review and as a man living paycheck to paycheck, I do appreciate that. Thanks! And if I have any issues, QUEEFIE coming for you.
Hey I also love paycheck to paycheck so I feel you. It is a really nice fun scooter. Not the fastest in the world but super fun, portable and good quality. I hope you like it! And use my link and help a brother out! 😉
Nice! I've been looking for a scooter like this. I need one to commute to work. It's about 8 miles round trip. Nice review!
Oh then it will be perfect for you! Thanks for watching!
Nice little scooter!
Thanks! It really is.
I put electrical tape on the bend,it stopped the rattling 😂
Hey good idea!
Great review! I just received my G1 from 5th wheel a week and a half ago and your thoughts are spot on with my initial impressions of the scooter. Thanks for sharing the pointer about the folding mechanism and the pin catching on the slide collar. I've noticed a few times that my collar seemed to be sticking as well and I had to aggressively jiggle the scooter to free it up so I could collapse it. I will definitely go check this pin now to see if mine has the same defect that your first one had! Have you had any trouble getting the scooter to power off after ending a ride? On mine the power button won't shut it off after a ride is complete and I have to wait until it times out and shuts itself off due to inactivity. If I try and turn it on and back off without riding at all then it works fine and powers off after holding the button for 3 seconds. I'm currently talking with 5th support to address the issue so hopefully they'll make things right if it is a defect in my scooter.
Hey Kevin, thanks for your comment. Cool that you feel the same about the scooter. So yeah check that pin for sure. I would like you to let me know so I can also tell 5th wheel through my contact. They want to know anything that's wrong. You can email me at hobart@hobartsreviews.com. I have not had an issue with powering it off. It goes on and off with no issues. I hope we get everything resolved and anything I can do to help. Thanks for watching my friend!
@@HobartsReviews I just checked the pin and sure enough it is sliding out of the pivot point on my scooter as well. I took some photos that I will send to you as well as directly to 5th Wheel.
How do you protect them against theft
There is a setting in the app that lets you lock the scooter so nobody can ride it away. I would also use a physical lock because they could carry it away they just won't be able to use it because it's locked. Also it's pretty light so you can fold it and carry it with you.
