I absolutely love the Fonty Tartan yarn you shared. Green is my favorite color and those colors you showed will be beautiful in a sweater. I am still plugging away on my Cable and Crossed cardigan and started my last sleeve yesterday. I have to admit that I am not looking forward to stitching it all together, but am determined to finish it in June. I have been enjoying making it, but life has gotten in the way of finishing it more quickly. I think I will just be making dishcloths in July and August. I have patterns in mind and I think I will make at least a couple using Tunisian crochet to practice that a bit. I definitely slow down my crocheting in the summertime. Your trip to Bordeaux sounded lovely.
The Cable & Crossed cardi is a BIG project - that's why I encourage people to work at their own pace - I like how you've paced it out to your own timeline and and can see the finish line already! The warmer weather does make crochet a little more challenging - but making a useable project to practice stitches is a great way to fill the weeks before the weather turns. The trip was lovely, wished it could have been longer - but I always feel like that haha
Thank you for introducing me to High Desert Yarn! I live a bit up the road from Joanna. I'm excited to watch and learn about the project using that beautiful Rose colorway. I'll start my cash stash now.
Isn't it great how small the world seems when it comes to crafting! I can not wait to share all the ideas and projects for this yarn - I'm still staring at it and those lovely colours!
I am currently working on 6 projects and have put a few on hold to pick back up in September. I just finished my first garment and working on a hexicardigan for a CAL. I just discovered and subscribed to your channel today and have already watched 4 videos! Love the content and have already learned some new things! Although I am new to crochet (started this year) so much is new to me! I have already looked at High Dessert Yarns and can’t wait to explore more. Looking forward to seeing more of your projects and news!
It's it just beautiful! I am going to have to be brave one day and use some for a garment. Love those hearts - I don't have those colour choices on my emojis 😐
Top down does give the impression that they are easier to create a custom fit, but I need to try another neckline option as the round style shoulders do not suit my already rounded figure. You already know how great the Summer Wool Festival was - it got us back in contact and I love that show for that!

It's so lovely to have you here! Keep me updated with all your progress :)
The Autumn Poppy looks so gorgeous 😍 I love a vibrant orange but haven't been brave enough to try it on a garment yet. 🧡🩷💜

They are beautiful
I can't wait to get working with them!
I want to make a top down sweater this year. Not got a pattern yet... The shows sound amazing
