Judas Priest at the Minneapolis Armory this coming Spring, seen them in 77 and 81... im 63! Halford is 9 years older than me! One more show for the road ehh! 👏🙌👏
This is such a soulful, haunting ballad by this great band called Judas Priest. Rob Halford's voice soars through empty space like a voice of some cursed angel. Judas Priest can play fast and furious and slow and tender, they do it all so very well. I love this song and I love Judas Priest.

Satanism is only a thing if you believe in Satan, so debatable to the person listening... and as far as destruction goes... war happens, the planet is crumbling and people write songs about stuff in the real world...Deal with it!
Yes for sure! A lot of guitarists can shred but not many can put that heart and soul into it. Michael is my favorite. So many people just jump to EVH as being the greatest. I seriously can’t think of a solo that he’s done that compares to this, Michael’s, Gary Moore’s, and there are many others but Eddie doesn’t have that and I have all of VH’s albums on vinyl and SACD.
@@stevenewcomer8837 ..if i remeber right, in the 70's i did read the american rock paper creem where michael said that he didn't consider eddie's guitar playing as normal/good guitar playing.. :)
@@sunintheroom well it’s well known and documented that Eddie “borrowed” 😉 several riffs from Michael. One of Van Halen’s first tours starting out was opening for UFO. Michael was asked recently in an interview what he thought about Eddie’s using his riffs and Michael just laughed. He is such a humble and great guy. Michael says that he has not listened to music in over 50 years. The only way that he hears anyone else’s music is in passing like on the radio during a taxi ride or in a store’s background music, etc. He then went on to say that EVH is his favorite guitarist. 😂 🤷♂️ Michael also posted an open letter to Eddie on his Facebook page. @@sunintheroom I was just telling you what MICHAEL said in the interview. I’m sure he was trying to be polite for a fellow musician that just died. Yes, Michael and Rudolf have had issues for ever. Michael was a guitar prodigy and six years younger than Rudolf. Rudolf couldn’t read or transcribe music so he always got Michael to do it for him and constantly took advantage of him. Rudolf basically wanted to be Michael. Michael wrote the album Lonesome Crow at the age of 16. The Scorpions did not even exist yet. Klaus, Rudolf, and the boys literally begged Michael to let them play on the album. Michael agreed and within about a week they threw together a band and The Scorpions were born. Michael was the original lead guitarist and founding member of the Scorpions. Michael performed on and toured some on the Love Drive tour. He co-wrote several songs. He co-wrote “Holiday” and wrote the guitar music on the song. Somehow Michael’s credits for the album and music disappeared. Rudolf’s name was credited instead. Michael also mentioned how he came up with his half black and half white color scheme for his Gibson Flying V. It was simply because he couldn’t make up his mind whether to go with black or white so he decided to do both. 😂 Afterwards he had an odd request from Rudolf. Rudolf asked Michael if he would mind if he (Rudolf) could use his black and white design on his Flying V! He allowed it and Rudolf did it and played it for years. Rudolf had/has a weird obsession with his little brother.
