Those old Williams games had the coolest sound effects in the 80's. I'd LOVE to get a Robotron. I have a Defender and a Stargate, which are fun to play too.
There was this older kid in the neighborhood I grew up in. He was like everyone’s hero from being so good at robotron. The word would get around that he was at the pharmacy playing on one of two arcades they always had in the back. Kids would hurry and ride their bikes to the store to watch him play!! Hahaha. Using two sticks at once was next level back then. What good times.

Thanks for the update. Another banger. FPGA is the way most arcade cabinet preservations are gonna have to go in the future, IMO. With accurate arcade plans and an FPGA, literally any cab can be reproduced. Great for the hobby.
Quick creator question for you! Near the end of the video, where you're talking to the camera, the background of arcade machines. Is that a live shot taken while recording that segment or is it a separate blurred video put in during post (i.e. green screen or something)?

It’s good that your Jeep has that tailgate that swings out. I borrow my gf’s Ford Escape to pickup games and that latch in the middle of the threshold sticks up. Scratched the hell out of a Centipede before I learned to double up some carpeting over it.

Forget crack cocaine, Robotron 2084 is the most addictive thing you can lay your hands on. IMHO THE best arcade game of all-time, just non-stop action in every way.
That's cool how it came with the Williams JROK multi-board already installed, all those extra games are a huge plus! I loved Midway's War Final Assault too. That game is now emulated in MAME, though not perfectly. It certainly played a lot better with the original arcade board. As for Robotron, it looks like the front panel artwork is in pretty good shape, and you could always add in the side panel artwork later on.
i love hunting for arcade games the harder game to find that i own is space harrier and i just picked up a nba jam for $40 and a neo geo 4 slot for $150 love your videos i always looking for a new video from you learn so much from your videos
oh sweet, robotron! man I remember J-ROK from the early mame days, I liked his PC conversions of classic arcades. If I can get it configured on my atgames I may have to fire up Robotron for a credit (may have to remap the buttons for a second stick, I suppose) but cool to see the other updates at the garage!

I love my Multi Williams. My Sinistar is setup as horizontal format. Ralph, have you tried yours to see if it has the horizontal format? my board is an older one where they included Moon Patrol as well.
No my JROK doesn't have moon patrol or horizontal Sinistar but that would be awesome! I wonder if they ever gave people the option to add Moon Patrol and Horiz Sinistar to the newer boards. I will have to look into that. I have only seen the Horizontal versions on console port compilations or that Big Amusment piece of crap 3/4 thing... LOL.
I am not sure how and why they removed those 2 games, maybe licenses problems. Todd had a video and saw an older JROK, looks really cool with the extra games, board is green.

I bought my Multi Williams cabinet in January 2021. This was one of the early "JROK" boards where I found an old website explaining on getting old hardware to upload either vertical or horizontal games. If any of you hear of the ArcadeSD jamma board, this seem to be like a very early version of an ArcadeSD. If I can find the webpage, I would be more than happy to share it to you.
That Robotron looks pretty good, but you put it where Road Blasters used to be? Where is Road Blasters? did you fall out of love with that game? Road Blasters is one of my favorite arcade games, probably my top arcade game of all time.

Act. you can the Jrok FPGA PCB allows you to play all games vert or Hoizon. on either style monitor
