Fantastic tutorial! Subscribed. I personally would combine this tutorial with the Stiltbeast tutorial on the $60 prop because it allows you to use the skeleton in something else and since it’s hollow, more vents for the smoke but that would require more work and this is just great! Good job!
Stillbeast has some amazing stuff. I love blending ideas I've picked up from various artist and making my own thing out of it. Thanks for the compliments!
The Y on the post is probably a lot stronger than the fitting I used in the original build. At the time I built it I was not intending on covering the post to make it look charred so I was trying to keep my fittings and mounting points small and concealed. I even went as far as painting and texturing the pvc pipe to make it look like wood before deciding to switch to the charred look. It's still holding up well last I heard from the owners of Red Vein Haunt.
Man you absolutely crushed it with this build. As soon as I saw it I knew I had to tackle one like it. Thanks for putting out great material to inspire people like me who will pass it on and hopefully inspire some more. Homemade Halloween is infinitely better than anything bought in a store!
This is a thing of nightmares and oh so awesome! As always, you have a true talent at making the greatest holiday ever even more spooktakular (Christmas is overrated)! All the best and keep up the great content man.
@@infowarrior7576 awesome its a fun one! If you have any questions feel free to ask. Also check out oak lane cemetery here on RUclips. He’s the original builder of this and has a great tutorial. I just tweaked his design to what I was wanting to do.
Lol not "ripped off" at all my guy. Oak lane cemetery is where I first saw this and was inspired to make my own and tweak it a bit to my liking. He's actually in the comments below and a very nice guy with some great content. These videos and his videos are intended to inspire others and show them how they can create great props at home. The more people they reach the more people actually get out there and build. I don't get any money from this. This is just about spreading information, inspiration and some Halloween spirit. Thanks for popping in with your negativity Nelly vibes though. Have a great day and a happy Halloween. 🧟♂️

That's rad!
Great idea! It looks, well, very gross. 👍🎃
Thank you! Cheers!
What inch pvc are you using for the pole?
@@infowarrior7576 i believe it is 2.5” definitely not bigger than that. The spray foam bulks it up a bit and gets it to a good size.
@@mayhemonmidlake7681 Thanks. This is my big build this year. I’m starting on it this weekend.

@@mayhemonmidlake7681 will do. Thanks for the tip. I’ll check out his video. I can use all the pointers I can get.
Ripped off from another youtuber.
