The biggest plot hole here is that Kong was supposedly brought back to the surface and on a rampage.... Ummm why isn't Godzilla hunting him down as stated many times would happen.
Even though it's because of licensing rights, I'm glad Godzilla isn't hunting Kong down for once and he never should've. What has Kong done that warrants Godzilla to attack him? If there can't be two alpha titans, why does Shimo get to roll free? She helped triggered the ice age yet you don't see Godzilla hunting her down. It's a stupid plot point that forces the two most famous monsters in the world to fight just because and only further establishes Godzilla as a mindless murder machine. Sorry for the rant but it's tiring how since Gvk the handling of the Monsterverse monsters have not been great.
I like the concept of this game. Would of been more interested if it had more survival elements and better voice direction. Is a bit weird to compare it to more actiony metroidvanias.

I believe I speak for many when I say we weren't expecting a game like this for being the first in the MV (MonsterVerse). We expected a game similar to the past games such as Godzilla Save The Earth. A giant Free-For-All Brawl game where you pick your favorite monsters or "Titans" to battle against others. If not this, then copy the format from 2005's Peter Jackson's King Kong. Or just remake or remaster that game entirely. Listen to the fans and stop giving us Kong games when it's supposed to be Godzilla games.
