I went with the Temple Audio and needed the Duo34. I've got the FM9, my Shure GLXD16+, a couple pedals and the Fractal EV-1. I used every inch of the Duo 34 I like the MODs for the IEC, USB and XLR. But the darn pedal board is heavy.
very cool build, can totally relate to the build times and when you have early soundcheck is the extra height a bit offputting for the higher switches? by that i mean given the angle of the pedaltrain and everything being a touch higher up and the FM9 is quite tall i'm using an FM3 rig with a temple audio duo 24, it's an absolute breeze, one IEC power point for the board (wireless +2 pedals + FM3) and then a loom for the XLR/midi cable, the cool thing is that the temple board is pretty low profile and flat , and you can screw the FM3 (works on the FM9 too) directly onto the board, no need for velcro etc.. for the weight, given the wooden board on top, you could potentially just add two stands/feet on each side of the wooden plank (for enough room for the power supply underneath) it might not look as pro as your current setup but i can imagine will save weight
I definitely had to get used to the new angle a little bit, but it's honestly not a deal breaker for me! I'll take the different angle and heavier board for a faster set up any day lol
Nice setup. Just completed my board build. Heck of a lot easier esp for concerts with 5 minutes or less band change over. 1-2min set up with tuning, and done.
