  • With some newly added features, you can now use the text to image AI image generator, MidJourney, to create mind-blowing infinite zoom videos.
    In this video I take you step by step through the process teaching you how to generate the images correctly, and how to edit them into a video using Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and/or DaVinci Resolve.
    In this video I reference an Infinite Zoom video I published a few days ago which follows the past 3.7 billion years on earth, watch the full thing here now: • The last 3.7 billion y...

    There was so much info in this video it needs multiple viewings, as another commenter said, the view count is way off what it should be.
    This vid shows that even with AI, there is still a lot of work to create a video as high quality as the one you did, but, it IS achievable.
    Thank you for providing such a detailed tutorial.

      Hey Billy, thanks for this. Really glad people enjoyed it. I've hopefully got some fun new videos on the horrizon. I'm still dealing with my recovery at the moment but on good days really trying to produce some good, fun, and useful content here. All the best!

    Cool tutorial. I thought I might add a tip for the position alignment mentioned at 30:45 - you can change the position of a keyframe on a frame that the playback head is not on (without creating a new keyframe) by double clicking the key you want to change and spinning the numbers - that way you can watch as your frames align without as much guesswork.

      @@3DRevolution thanks man! I appreciate it! I'm trying to make a music video so it's a bit tricky because I want the timing of the images to correspond with the lyrics.

    • @3DRevolution
      @3DRevolution  10 месяцев назад +1

      @@johnnyeaton That'll more come down to the editing post generation.
      Create all your images first (try to create more images for sections of your song that are slower or that will be onscreen for a longer time), then create your initial infinite zoom.
      Then export it and reimport it into DaVinci as a single video file (making sure you've created an infinite zoom video that is longer than the length of your song).
      Lay the music track down on a timeline, then add the infinite zoom over it, and adjust the speed and timing of different sections of the video to better match your song.
      If you want to aim to generate images that will perfectly match the length of your song (and meet the right timings in the song) from the get go, just remembered that each image you generate will represent 1 second on screen. So if you want something to happen 35 seconds into your video make sure that happens on the 36th image.
      Though bare in mind your prompts are only going to affect the outer boarder of the image, so you may want to start generrating the thing you want to happen at 35 seconds 1 or two images earlier

      @@3DRevolution I gave it a go and did some initial testing, and, unfortunately, the zooming is really choppy, not smooth at all. I guess that's why you recommended Adobe over DaVinci. :( I guess another question is, do you do freelance work? :)

    rather than using photoshop to make the image smaller and keeping the space around it, it would be super simple to have chatgpt to write a script to do this automatically and in a second or two

    • @LifeLedLucid

      I think it would be easy enough to have it write a script to make a video zoom in on the image and change it at the correct times

    Hey, can you explain how you created zoom out from Earth at the end? I'm trying to create the same zoom for my video and every time getting some weird deformations of the earth's shape, at some steps, it's not spherical anymore. Thanks in advance !

    • @3DRevolution
      @3DRevolution  4 месяца назад

      Hey, sure. I was actually using fairly simple prompts at that point in the video but I was needing to use several affirmative commands to comirm the shape and style. A lot of my prompts at that point were pretty much, "wide angle photo of the whole entire round planet earth"

    • @zarif73
      @zarif73 4 месяца назад

      Thank you!!! I'm really new to AI, what affirmative commands did you use there? Because then I zoom out from Earth, I'm getting really weird results with simple prompts@@3DRevolution

    • @3DRevolution
      @3DRevolution  4 месяца назад

      @@zarif73 hey sorry, that was probably a bit confusing, that I'm aware of, affirmative commands isn't a recognised Midjourney term, was more of a personal descriptor.
      It was more that I was referring to the "whole", "entire", and "round" earth.

    • @zarif73
      @zarif73 4 месяца назад

      ah, ok :) But did you get at some point elliptical earth? and if you did, how did you solve it?@lution

    • @3DRevolution
      @3DRevolution  4 месяца назад +1

      @@zarif73 haha oh definitely. I was getting all sorts of oddly shaped and charactered earth's, but the key is really persistence. Really emphasise the shape you want and use negative prompts if there's a particular thing being generated that you don't want.

    i am using 5.2 and set up mid journey in my own discord server, but i dont see the zoom option after upscaling. is it because im on the cheapest midjourney option? do i need to upgrade to the $20 one?

    • @3DRevolution
      @3DRevolution  9 месяцев назад +1

      No you should have access to the zoom feature regardless of which package you're on. I've just gone through all the settings options and I'm not able to replicate your issue. I'm on the basic plan at the moment and I've still got access to the Zoom Out features. Have you tested it to see if you get the zoom out feature when you upscale an image on the public MidJourney server rather than on your own? That would at least let you check if that could be the cause?

    Can I do the infinite zoom effect with my own "real" photos?

    • @3DRevolution
      @3DRevolution  8 месяцев назад

      Yes and no. Technically it is possible, but will involve a completely different process to this and a lot more manual photo/video manipulation.
      If you have ever seen the film Limitless, the infinite zoom style was made popular by that, and that features a number using standard video shots plus a load of rotoscoping.
