I have a video on my channel talking about this clipper and I did the blade swap first thing. Idk what it is about this clipper and the masters blade on it but it literally makes me fade noticeably faster. Its almost like fading for lazy people lol. To me its what the cordless fast feeds should have been. Strong, light weight, blends smooth, you can hear the hair being cut, dbl magnetic guards w/ master blade, charging stand included and leaves a soft blend and its actually quiet unlike the cordless masters and its CHEAP. To me the real beast from andis is this clipper not the cordless masters.
Mike if it's no problem, what are your steps for fading with Master blade on this machine? 2 closed, 1 open, 1 closed, 0 guard if needed, and then no guard open to close?
@ArabicReviewed I fade up and down at the same time basically. And i do all my steps all the way around the head (I dont do one side blend it then the other side). I debulk the haircut first if needed (Usually with a #2). I skin the fade out first trimmer and shaver. blade open guide with this clipper then i immediately fade it out open to close. Then i take a 2 guard open and i fade down from there. So 2guard open, 2 guard closed, 1 guard open, 1 guard closed. The only thing that should be left is the half line. Take 0 guard closed and i flick out with it and if you have a good flick it will blend perfectly into the 1 closed. If not you can just open the 0 guard halfway and it will remove any spots it didnt get. Then just detail work from there. So i combine fading up and down together to be able to control the fade wherever i want it to be. And i use clipper over comb for the rest of the cut Keep in mind this clipper doesnt open as much as the masters so you may need to use the 1.5 guard on certain hair textures usually just halfway or closed to make sure the 1 open blends to the 2 correctly (but usually unnecessary with the right flick motion)
@@Mike-hy8cs appreciate it my guy. I got a clone black magic clip from china and put a stretch bracket and master blade on it, it cuts amazing and is quiet. It's like a quiet Andis cordless master in a magic clip body, so that's the only thing stopping me from buying this envy Thanks again
@@andrewstadeker7679 Mike addressed this on the video on his channel, it doesn't open up as much as the regular Andis Master. I'd wager it's more comparable to a Senior/Magic Clip lever throw
The main reason why I watch your channel is because you keep it one thousand homie. I might get this and put the phat master on it if I don’t like it I’ll put the master blade I have a few of them. It would seem I’ll like it for detailing. I currently use ergo with stretch and master blade for detailing I just like the smooth outcome it gives.
You get two set of holes. Not screws . But the screws that comes with it can be use for the other holes. So you don’t have to buy andis master screws. It’s up to you
Got a question brother ? Is it the cordless master blade or any master blade that can fit on here ? I’m kind of confused and new to this game and I loved this review and would love to try this clipper as well. When you got time please let me know exactly what master blade did you put on here and if you have the model number blade that would be greatly appreciated. Would love to purchase these from you if you are done with them and would like to sell to a up and coming barber!
There are 2 different types of blades, A5 is what is the spacing and size of just about every blade beside andis blades, the master blade on the corded or cordless are basically the same thing, the difference is that the master clipper didn’t use an external bracket, the level moved the cutting blade from inside the clipper, it just uses smaller screws, And the gap space between the screw holes are closer together, the main reason I believe tank likes the envy 2 with the mlc blade is because it’s a US made high Quality blade, and it also feels more familiar, but also you are making a hybrid feel, ceramic cutter with wider teeth, and a MLC blade with closer teeth would make for a more precise cut. VeRSA~
I have the jrls and i love them but theres something about this clipper and fading with it with the master blade. Probably because the dbl magnetic guards. These blend faster than the jrls do. But the jrls are more solid all around. But just for fading i like the envy 2s better

Does the clipper have the same signature Master long throw though?

Your reviews are by far the best on youtube. I appreciate you giving your honest opinion on all barber brands. Keep up the great work Tank

Thinking about this and the phat master blade.
I got it in black on amazon for only $109.99 got a new master blade for it when it gets here💪
Andis envy 2 fire and all but that hiviz trimmer making your andis blends hit
Thank you

Yup and this clipper might just be a top 3 clipper out right now.
Honesty…. That’s why I watch this artist
...best blade of all times
Correct!!!
Tank what's up can the fast feed blade work on the envy 2
Does it have the same Master signature long throw? Also, does it cut better than the unreliable Oster cordless Fastfeeds?
I don’t believe it has a stretch on it
Is this better than babybliss lo pro fx ?
Can you put the blade from the andis Envy LI taper blade?
You don't have to switch the bracket you can put the Andis Master blade straight onto this clipper?
yessir
You can you just need the masters screws and blade and youre good. I just took mine from an old masters i had lying around
@@Mike-hy8cs I thought somebody said they come with the Clipper in the Box I've got a pair of extra ones I bought off amazon.
@@aaroncline5828 hmm maybe they do I didnt see anything in my box maybe i accidently threw it out

Edit, not the cutting blade, it moved the comb blade (outer blade)

Tank what is the run time for that clipper?
2.5hours
Does the lever click?
No its a traditional lever
This with the master blade vs the Jrl or the play?
this with master blade
Play all day
andis, oster and wahl..the rest is crap on hype.
