The comparisons between the raw files and the final shots just keep getting more wild to look at! You comp artists really do have a lot of work to undertake, and you're doing it so flawlessly! I'm especially impressed with the coloring and lighting effects. Clearly, there was a theme of neon blacklights going on here, and now I keep forgetting that all of those outfits aren't actually purple and green! That whole sequence was so much fun! Those drawings of Stella and Via are stunning, to say the least. Stella definitely has the look and feel of a wife who's done with her hubby's, let alone *anyone's* bullshit, and Via is out here looking like her typical edgy self, but now with some form of disgust and regret about her family's machinations. Awesome stuff! It really took a lot to make sure that angsty Stolitz sequence had enough emotional punch. You all succeeded in that department, obviously, but even just from seeing the raw animation, the expressions and body language are all there, and it all feels so natural and hard to watch without feeling the emotions. Bravo. Keep up the awesome work in that comp department there! These behind the scenes videos are always a treat whenever an episode comes out! Until the next episode, keep making magic, Seraph!
I'm always blown away by the compositing work on these episode with intense lighting and effects. You could've paid me to say Ozzie's suit was red and I still would've said it's purple. And it's amazing you guys decided to go with making Ozzie have so many glowing parts and still managed to make everything look amazing! I know animating this was 100% a pain but I can't even begin to fathom how hard compositing it must've been. Props to you Serval! If I ever have the money, it would be an honor to have you composite something of mine.

I have a question about Ozzie I know that he is a Ruler of the Lust ring but is he a Mega-Incubus? (Male Succubus but with immense Demonic Energy Unique and exclusive to a Ruler of a Ring of hell).
Asmodeus (Ozzie) is major demon from demonology, who is responsible specifically for lust. He can be anyone if he wants - succubus, incubus, scary demon.
I am consistently blown away by the quality of animation in this show. Also the after effects are so beautiful, the colours and lighting always look beautiful in this show. Every frame is gorgeous. How is this free independent show blowing most studio productions out of the water, you’re all incredible

4:06 oh shit theres 2 now in all seriousness i have watched so many videos showing off the lighting effects/coloring. i remember when people were trying their hardest to put down helluva boss and hazbin and saying "oh theyre too red" but i have a HUGE soft spot for the way the colors are picked and they. aug. fucking go so well with how all the lighing is done. we go from a pretty pink circus looking club to saturated greens and purples and blues and i am here for it. ive said this in like 3 comment sections now bye bye

It amazes me how much compositing makes all these scenes look so beautiful! You don’t happen to know who animated Stolas’s galaxy cape? I noticed the green screen look to it in the before shots.
They probably had an animated background then they used the after effects green screen functionality. In my rendering and animation course we had to use it to green screen us in an animation. A flat green surface without something inside is just a couple clicks away. Ah wish I had the money to get the Adobe suite. (You can even ad plug-ins to increase its functionality infinitely)
What I hope for episode 8: - Stolas selling the grimoire to Blitzo and vowing _never_ to cheat on Stella again, leading to Stolas and Blitzo interacting casually from then onward - I.M.P doing a car wash to keep said company open - Blitzo and Verosika apologizing to each other - Asmodeus agreeing to get red of the lust rule at the Ozzie's dinner theater - Moxxie reprising the new song about Millie but with a verse he didn't get to sing - A ‘thank you’ message from Blitzo to viewers for tuning in to all 8 episodes

It's always fascinating to see bits of the animation process. Even when I KNOW there's different people working on different scenes and different layers OF said scenes, it's so interesting seeing the 'in process' version and comparing it to the complete product.
I just wanna say amazing work on all of these episodes I now animation is hard af and I understand how much time you guys put into this I tried (failed miserably) keep up the great work Ps I have a video idea how you got your job at spindle horse I know people are interested (like me)
