Become an electrician in 2021? Basically, electricians are the ones who fix minor issues related to electricity, electric wires, and other electrical equipment. They are the professionals you call in whenever you encounter problems with your power systems, transmission lines, electrical cables, and other things related.

Electricians install, maintain, and repair electrical power, communications, lighting, and control systems in homes, businesses, and factories. Almost every building has electrical power, communications, lighting, and control system that is installed during construction and maintained after that. These systems power the lights, appliances, and equipment that make people’s lives and jobs easier and more comfortable.
Installing electrical systems in newly constructed buildings is often less complicated than maintaining equipment in existing buildings because electrical wiring is more easily accessible during construction. Maintaining equipment and systems involves identifying problems and repairing broken equipment that is sometimes difficult to reach. Maintenance work may include fixing or replacing parts, light fixtures, control systems, motors, and other types of electrical equipment.
Electricians read blueprints, which include technical diagrams of electrical systems that show the location of circuits, outlets, and other equipment. They use different types of hand tools and power tools, such as conduit benders, to run and protect wiring. Other commonly used tools include screwdrivers, wire strippers, drills, and saws. While troubleshooting, electricians also may use ammeters, voltmeters, thermal scanners, and cable testers to find problems and ensure that components are working properly.

Everyone wanting to work from home while the trade industry may be exploding. Specially with EV cars, houses need to be updated to support charging, maintenance, etc.
Being on your own as an electrician sucks. Join a union. $62k a yr sucks. Make 75k+ plus on your checks. Medical and retirement is paid for by employers. You never see it or deal with it. It's great for a man child like me.
It depends on ur lifestyle. Union has limits, fees u gotta pay and have to share power tools 🤯
Being on your own you can easily make 120k plus and use ur own tools 🤷🏾♂️

Hey guys someone help me out here. I'm not particularly handy and know nothing about this stuff (I can only hook up TV's and game systems) but I learn quick especially with repetition. I'm a cool worker (when it's time to work I'm ready to go but if there's nothing to do I'm chilling) I'm good with being on time and being professional. I just smoke weed when I'm off. Do I sound like a good candidate?

I lol'd at the 4 percent drop for auto mechanics on the chart. I'm an auto tech, looking at other trades, and alot of people are leaving the auto industry. Everyone is tired of the flat rate rat-race, trying not to lose your ass on jobs, and if you dont go that route you end up at a small independent who wants to pay 16/hr and have certs, do everything, work saturdays, no benefits, and they want stuff pumped out like a dealer. Imo automotive is on the bottom of the trades list. Do do it unless you really want to.

My dad has owned his own carpentry business for 20 years, he clears 175 each year with ease and sometimes pushes 225k, 2005 when Katrina hit he made 350k
It really sucks in terms of physical health tho so if you value that then I wouldn’t say carpentry.

Myers-Briggs is used by the CIA, most fortune 500 companies, government agencies, and schools. They find it helpful for identifying preferences.
tried electrical aprentice for 6 months at 2 different companies it sucked.
