You are comparing apples to oranges. This routine is Character and Faribault's is High Kick. Minnesota is THE state of dance. Their level of competitiveness COMPLETELY outdoes any other state, producing some of the most talented dancers in their country. Their judges association, coaches association, state high school league, not only rival, but totally OUT DO every other state in the country...you can keep your alien heads
I've seen lots of dance in my life professional and local talent. This amazing character routine is way, way better than that high-kick routine that was "inspired by it." Even though they are different genres, the Azurettes have the more highly developed skills and polish. Way to go Utah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No comparison in my mind and I've seen both.
