    👍Thanks for the video. It may help to note that the first publication of the Sudden Receiver I have found is in G-QRP SPRAT Issue 58, Autumn 1989 by Rev. George Dobbs, G3RJV.

      Indeed - I could say "its all his fault!" but I am extremely grateful for the influence on my childhood and beyond.

    Man i just cannot have enough of your videos and would like to say that I wish I subscribed sooner.
    I built your VFO and on my way to completing the Homebrew Bitx following your build.
    I know the sudden originally had 2 IC's (NE602 & LM386) would like to know what the other two on the board u had were?
    will definitely try the Sudden with a VFO and see how it goes on 40
    Cheers and 73's from Amman JY

      Thanks for the feedback, IC1 is a MC1350, IC2 is a 602/612, IC3 is a dual opamp and IC4 is the LM386. I'll upload the schematic to the project repository

    Cheers Mark. Like you, these "simple" projects bring me the biggest smiles too. Just curious … did you need to muck around with the output level of the AD9850?

    • @MarkG0MGX
      @MarkG0MGX  4 года назад

      Nope - just used a bit of thin coax to connect them directly.

    Hi Mark. I thought I'd use your code so I can start to get my head around TFTs and the STM32thingy. Where did you source your ILI9488.h library? Thanks, Neville ZL2BNE. PS, I'm pretty new to Arduino etc and these library things are doing my head in!

      Hi Neville, I've uploaded the library files to the project directory www.qsl.net/g/g0mgx//BlogFiles/Sudden/

      @@MarkG0MGX Hi Mark. I've sent you a couple of emails to the address showing in your qrz.com. I'm going mad trying to figure why I can't compile your code. My guesses are wrong library versions, wrong board selected, or perhaps the way my windows is configured and where my files are loaded. I'm happily compiling and uploading lots of other code, it's just the TFT that's doing me in. Most frustratingly I'm using the same STM32 & TFT as you are using. I do hope you can help as I've exhausted all other avenues that I can think of. Thanks heaps.
