- With so many players reaching the higher tier missions, finding friendly players in the DMZ is becoming harder and harder. Many of the high tier missions force you to PvP and disincentivize friendly encounters. @Stodeh and I were completing our final PvP mission ourselves, so friendly play was out the window.

I’ve learned a 2 or 3 man team that communicates is much more deadly and accurate than a team of 4, 5, or even 6 players who aren’t communicating.
i have learnt that people who play dmz every day as their job are better than people who don't

Long time COD player new to DMZ. I had mistakenly thought DMZ was less toxic on the PvP. I was wrong. Consistently hunted down by full squads as a solo player. Forces you to adjust your approach to the game for sure.

It's shoot and finish first, plea and revive after. Everyone can plea now so no real consequence to being hostile to other operators.

Yesterday me and my buddy seen someone pleading for help so we went to help and then people were talking in prox chat and they said were you at and then just gunned us down losing everything

DMZ PvP should be limited to weapons case, train and other obviously contested spots. And they need to fix the 6/5/4 v 1/2 issue, especially when the 6 man squads are only out to wipe the lobby.
i like the risk of running into a hostile team but the 6 man death squads need to go

@@stones4879 sure, but the logic of spending 20 minutes defending yourself against 6 players or multiple hunt contracts as a solo or small squad and then having everyone die in radiation gas does not make sense.

Love your content On1c, but the more the more you use the intervention, the more you will miss shots, it's inconsistent even with my best build and the ammo capacity makes it wack when you don't have time to reload, even the Victus with its earth moving recoil and an ads slower than my granda is better 💀. I urge you to go back to the MCPR, you'll have a much higher hit ratio.

Six man teams are great, being able to go into koschei with a full team on comms is the best experience this game has to offer. Wether youre clearing AI, doing puzzles or missions or trying to grab the weopons case its always great fun. What isnt fun is wiping players that dont stand a chance. The risk/ reward factor of killing a player in DMZ makes it incredibly satisfying, if you. Cant lose anything then it just feels cruel. Id like to see bigger squad sizes personally. I feel like potentially creating a 9 man team would create awesome and wholesome moments and show the comunity that there is more to the game then just wiping players.
Instantly seeing a Lockwood 300 being pulled out triggered flashbacks to me nominating myself to level up and get the kills for that mission (little did I know I’d started 2 weeks of pain)
It wasn't so hard for me you just have to down them with any weapon and then finish him off with the Lockwood
the last guy really went full-in in his medic role. i bet he only carried plates and self revives for the team. He had a scavenger backpack too... talk about role play?
Poor guy by the fence after the execution probably showed up to answer those pleas. But they disappeared right before he got to them because you executed the teammate. Trying to be nice gets you killed too often.

For these guys complaining about people being unfriendly this was some of the most toxic gameplay Iv seen. They Hunter him halfway across the map. Like down the rest of the squad loot and either pick them up or move on.
The problem is, if they don't get that last guy they will often res their team mates and come after you again. Also nothing toxic about chasing people down who ran up on you trying to kill you imo.
The new Koschei map is the safest for solo at least there you tend to have less PVP and exfil camping. With new update I run straight to the Koschei location near me and just casually run that map. Been able to get the new blueprint and all only ran into other players 3 times now and with all the cover and such taking out a larger team solo, it is much easier. As for missi9ns you do not need to do every mission to get ypu 3 insured slots. My buddies and I did it without ever actually taking a mission to hunt other players so this BS about needing to intentionally go in for PVP to complete missions is just assholes way to justify messing up someone's day.

I have started doing DMZ during the week after work to avoid trolls. Evenings and weekends I run resurgence or ground war to preserve my sanity by not getting exfil camped.

Can you not just do a hostage rescue to avoid campers? Or am I missing something? Legitimate question I'm newer to the mode no hate here :)
@@thecaffinatedbeard you can do but I did one the other day and a guy was waiting for me and sniped me. Plus of solo there’s a few tier 3 feral bots on them. And you have to have a hostage contract left in the first place. My advice get really really good solo or find some decent DMZ buddies :)

I've knocked ppl down and revived them. I've shot at a guy coming in on my exfil but stopped and we rode out together. I play solo and announce I'm friendly before coming out and still get slaughtered by a squad. I'm almost to the point where I don't want to play DMZ bc of all the PvP. I just want to complete contracts and missions. If you want PvP go play Warzone or something.
I like to play for the missions, but I only play with random ppl, and in the last month, I got maybe 2 teams that were playing for the mission. Regarding who shot first, I tried to be friendly a lot of times just to be killed without any chance of anything, so usually what I do is shoot first and accept the plea, and I hate it! Unfortunately DMZ is just an easy Warzone for 90% of the ppl that play now.
DMZ is now filled with players from warzone who obviously suck at it, cause u can tell the way they be so excited when they get a kill, and they kno nothing of the missions
And there's so much to do on DMZ with three factions u can load n2 and al mazrah has a new death camp within it AI is crazy n there
All players including the last man can plea now for a limited time. Also, if someone pings that plea, it will stay active even if another player loots you. You can wait an entire match and be revived.
I was with a random and he was running to a group he part with and they killed me and when I went for the plead they just T-bagged me and left
The hostile environment doesn't help, and it's so bad. Even when soloing, I snipe because if I'm spotted, I got shot up. Even if I try to play passive.
1:26 yooo that snap u only get those shots being really good at the game or cheating, no middle point.
If this exact snap was done by the other team I seriously doubt it wouldn´t be immediately flagged as aim bot and those players bashed by everyone.
I wish for a day where I can load in solo and have SOME success. The combining into 6 man squads is ruining this mode. I’ve even once came across two 6 man teams hangin out at a gas station thinking it was a moment of clarity but they instead killed me because I wasn’t in a 6 man group myself I guess. There’s a lot of potential with DMZ that I’m afraid will go wasted.
get yourself a comms vest and stop shooting bots/hide when you hear the platoon notification, (or backup and head the other way)
I had a 6 man hunt me while on a solo run yesterday, I won the fight (they hunted me in the sandstorm which made flanking very easy). Only to find out they had another trio teamed up with them, who were very keen to trash talk me once they had me downed. I feel your pain.
I find that most of the time I team with other players, it’s because I killed them
You guys are great but “the rule” is lame. Nothing wrong with a friendly pick-up of a player after a fun fight. As long as they want to be friendly at the plea, then let them. I’ve had many good games that way. 😊
Dmz is soooooo rapey right now. Everyone wants to run around shouting friendly, than turn on you if you believe it. Also there are 6 man squads on the regular

I remember someone in the proximity chat saying they were friendly and then quickly switched on me. I now don't believe anyone when they say they're friendly, i do pick up on a case by case.

Everyone’s hostile in DMZ I’ll take a team out (if they shoot at me and if I can get away) then I’ll go and revive them if they ask! Cause I just love the entertainment of stalking a team (if provoked) and vice versa or just running around and helping other folk do their missions.
I tried being friendly a lot of times and here is how it goes.
Most of the players dont use mic at all
They dont accept invites
They just shoot first and finish all the way and loot straightaway and they dont even bother to pickup when pleading. There is no use being friendly, its survival of the strongest here.
1 most of dont use micro because cannot speaker on your language.
So main problem is communication.
2they dont accept invites because they dont know how to do it.❤
3.Because they think this is like black OPS mission
Or would play solo.
Not using strategy.
4untill pvp is avalaible on dmz then you are right.

With season 3 reloaded just for an fyi. They changed uav's they only work for the operator that used it unless all 3 party members use one then they are still upgraded to an advanced uav for the team
Umm now?? Been like that since season 2 me and my brother haven’t played but a match here and there just to use ai as warm up because it’s not fun anymore. We always run into toxic sweaty exfil campers or we run into hackers. Definitely been having more fun back on warzone. That’s what happens when the devs don’t care about the players 🤷🏾♂️.

I'm hostile to an extent. I'll evade before I have to engage. I've taken plenty of players loot for continuing their pursuit. Also, there's too much risk picking up a player. As a solo, I've been fooled before because I felt bad killing them. They like to scam and switch teams. Easier to just wipe em and not worry about it
Far as I'm concerned there are NO friendlies in the DMZ - I had one attack me without provocation, I downed him with the FTAC Siege, he then had the cheek to ask me for a revive, He didn't get one 🤪😂😂😂but he did loose all his gear and dog-tag
Seems on my server if i play before 10pm theres alot more friendly players willing to join. After that,into the wee hours of the night you get full squads that dont use their mics and pretend they cant hear you screaming "friendly!!"
Yeah, PvP just for the hell of it is against my principles. However, don't start none, won't be none. If you antagonize me and corner me, I will bring mortars down on my own position. If I don't go home, no one does.
I am a camper in DMZ. I infil with a sniper of my choice and a spotter scope and just chill . From time to time I will get hailed from an enemy team stating that they see me and If I don’t join they’ll take me out lol at that point I’m beat so I just link up. Other than that,if I’m not sitting around with a sniper,I’m hostile af now 🤣🤣🤣
its hard to be friendly now because you search for that. Because of toxic enemy team player didnt pick me up, ok fuck me all my weapon but let me do a mission, i was stuck since season 1 dmz with poisoned well mission. Yesterday i found a guy with no weapon, in ashika, running close to me, he goes to exfil near castle, i aim to him and he invites to join in his squad.. and i said i know that mission, infil with no weapon and complete exfil in same deployment. yes you are right.
DMZ is cut throat. I ran up on a dude, knocked him, and go "hey you want to live" he said thanks i just want to finish this mission. i said me too. we got ambushed as the helo landed by another team lol. I have been healed twice though so not too bad. Ill help people so i can stay alive as a solo DMZ player
The last guy didn't need to run too much he should have fought back. That wasn't cool him running and you snipping he should have tried to turn the tables around by him tucking inside a house and setup a trap for you cluster mines or claymore or c4s and wait back against the wall you get in you die.
I don't mind pvp, it's the people who say friendly and come in guns a blazing. Just be honest, if you don't want to team up, say nothing or say no.
It's like my first week back, and these dudes in DMZ try to kill you at all cost. I only had like 2 dudes out of 50 games that was cool.
I always invite enemy players to join my team before I engage in combat. A lot of players are super nice but many are some toxic fucks. I learned the hard way

I usually play as a solo, people have been going out of their way to chase and kill me. No matter how much I try to disengage. It's rough
