- I've officially made it to London! The first day was a bit long and stressful BUT I wouldn't rather be anywhere else right now. So excited to share this journey with you guys! In this video I also share a bit of my uni room haul featuring Primark, Poundland, B&M and Argos!

@@catherineuwagboe2864 It depends. I'm only a student so I haven't experience the working life yet but my Mum says it's difficult and says things back home (in Nigeria) were easier. I think compared to the USA there are fewer opportunities but there isn't much racism over (well openly). Idk if this is the type of answer you're looking for.

I'm manifesting living in London in 2021. I know its hard times right now, but with dedication and time I will make it happen.
I dont know anything about you or your channel because this video just popped up in my feed out of nowhere. But the title caught my attention so I just wanted to drop by and congratulate you on making such a huge move. I moved to Dubai from Texas for a few years and have no regrets. I think every young person should live abroad before settling down, if possible, because you will grow and learn so much. Anyway good luck!

It’s so mad seeing areas you go through all the time in someone else’s eyes! You’re so close to areas like Peckham, Deptford and Brixton aka the plug. A lot of culture, African/ Caribbean markets, food and hair shops I would definitely check them out.

I live in Greenwich you should get the bus instead of uber it is cheaper, if you have a contactless credit card you can use it on the buses in London cause the buses don't take cash, and plus it would of been quicker for you to go into Lewisham to Argos, buses 199 and 180 will take you there

I almost went to Greenwich university as well, but ended up choosing somewhere else. My university had a package of duvet, pillow, bedding and towels that you could buy as an international student. It sat there waiting for me in my room when I arrived at 6pm. So easy.

Like others, your vid popped up on my feed, so I watched because I liked the title. Keep the videos coming and show more of London (public transportation, restaurants, parks, nightlife etc.) Even though I have been to London before, it can be a little over whelming in the beginning. The reason people will watch your channel is because it can be fun to travel vicariously thru others. Just remember to keep it interesting. Congrats!!
congrats on the move!! uni halls will be some of the best time of your life! savers is a great store to go for discounted toiletries - also the bus is a life saver - you can use a contactless card or oyster card (im sure you know that by now!) - the whole dryer thing sounds bad but its not too bad. in my halls we had 10 washer/dryers to share between like 500+ people and if you time it right you literally never have to wait any loner than 5 mins
All these mishaps mean youre about to have a BOMB year sis and I can't wait to watch all your videos about it!! So excited for you!!

I moved from the US (through Portland but originally from Chicago) to Amsterdam in August. I totally feel you on the growing pains! You got this girl! Remember the people that love you and remind yourself of the bigger picture during the tougher times. :)

I moved to England in 2017, but not London (I’m jealous lol). I live near Cambridge. This is so fun to watch you adjust to life here because I can relate to it. I understand the suitcase struggle, I literally packed my life into 7 suitcases and struggledddd through heathrow with them. Anyway, I’m excited to see more

I am moving to London about April this year. I was married In California to a wonderful Brit living there his whole life. We had to finish up some life in the states and dealing with Spousal visa now.💕 I'm enjoying watching your new adventures and as I've visited there with the knowledge I will be living there soon I can understand many of your perspectives. Paige Mariah ahaha yea you should use the buses just £1.50 for a single trip and aldi/asda are the best for shopping! if youre looking to explore there’s a market near the uni and its pretty expensive but nice to walk around and explore! guessing you already know all this but just so excited for you!!

That scene at the airport really had me tearing up. That was me and my parents back in 1974 when I left the States to study in Europe. And we've replayed that scene countless times since.
