Operation needs a second machine. Push down the hill to a second dozer or use an excavator and get the water truck out of the way! Not moving nearly enough dirt for a D-10.
It seemed as if Rusty was questioning why use a dozer for that job. I have seen a company use the dozer blade on a compactor to build a ramp for scrapers to use to place fill.
Ecco mo mi ricordo nel75 quando io e mio padre facevamo la strada acqua solfurea con un bulldozer D8 che faceva da bulldozer escavate e autocarro bellissimo complimenti al ruspista🥂
Brian Gardiner in a perfect world where money is no issue you’d have the perfect machine for each job, but sometimes you have to use what you have. I’ve levelled football pitches and bigger with an excavator because we didn’t have a dozer or it was uneconomical to bring one in for a small amount of work.
Let's see,the man is cutting a 10° degree curve, plus making a 30° degree bank slope, all by eyeball. There are no stakes, and the curve wasn't laid out! Plus there is a matter of maintaining some gradient profile, which also isn't staked! The backfilling has to be done,so that there is no impossible grade for the trucks, and other vehicles! Civil engineering, jackleg,or CB style,or seat of the pants 👖, whatever it works!!! Just takes an educated eye to see the nuances! That operator is really good, and he deserves kudos! Thanks for the attention 🙂!
Robert Huron...you are right on the money!! Most of these commenters seem to think that anything painted yellow and pushing dirt, are machines that they are instant experts on and they can do it better than this guy. You and I know that he was given a task and he is doing it in the best way he can...I reckon that he did it pretty well, given the circumstances.
Thank you, and I got part of my education,as a child, riding on a bulldozer battery box! And I am still a sidewalk superintendent, add also that my father was a Flight ✈️engineer for PanAm,and I grew up,immersed in engineering,of all types! They never get the credit they are due,but God help them, when something goes wrong!! Thank you for your comments, and your thoughtful understanding 🙏!! Thanks again for your time and effort!!!!😇😇😇😇😇😇💯💯💯💯
The "10" denotes the size and the "T" denotes this was the latest model of that dozer at this time. I was running equipment on that job and I remember that MASSIVE boulder!
Hmmm on base of my profession in rebuilt of Caterpillar engines, I believe it is powered by Caterpillar C27 Acert V12 and 27 liter engine. The twin exhaust tail pipes due to V configuration. Moreover Caterpillar configure always triple or multi shank rear ripper or single wide angle aggressive Shank ripper in TTT track type tractor to tear down the soil 😉🇵🇰😎🇱🇷
Hi, Arborist460. So you would put a slope board and an angle blade into that situation in preference to what they are using there?????????? First up, neither slope boards nor angle blades are designed for the 'ruff stuff'. An angle blade, being wider, would also 'drag' the tractor around a lot more than that U-blade and thus be harder on the tractor - - - and the operator.. Second, suppose they don't happen to have either of your recommendations and are simply using what they do have, WHAT THEN???????????????? Just part of my 0.02. You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Quedó claramente demostrado; no todo el que mueve una maquinaria pesada, debe ser llamado operador capacitado!
A whole lot of wasted motion! He's fighting the dirt and the Dozer. This is painful to watch!
I was taught start at the top and push down.
is the "water truck" an old army vehicle ?
Looks like a long body M35...
Rusty bycycle, what machine do you recommend for what he was doing?

A 360 excavator, surely?
We're gonna need a bigger sandbox!
pro tip: watch series at flixzone. I've been using it for watching all kinds of movies during the lockdown.
@Dorian Judah yup, I have been watching on Flixzone} for since november myself :)

Does Mummy know you are using her laptop?
What is the meaning of a D10T ?
The "10" denotes the size and the "T" denotes this was the latest model of that dozer at this time. I was running equipment on that job and I remember that MASSIVE boulder!
How drive it
Luv to hear that Metal talk!!

One needs a slope board and a pipeline style blade would cut n throw dirt out better

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.
If he slowed down he would get more done
Obviously an impressive machine but needs a angle blade as only one track working only half the machine working doing this type off work.
I dint no th x-frame could tilt that much
Use the side spry or pull the hose out. This is slightly painful to watch.
Under utilize. Driver not experience enough and not knowing the capabilities of the machine
You have no idea what you are talking about
Operator clearly knows what he is doing, just watch and you can see it
All these 'video watching' dozer operator wanna-be's make me tired. Can't you all just enjoy the video's without being a critic?
You dont use a slope board to cut native material. And its full of large rocks.
Slope boards are for fine & lite cleanup
Yes I can, I don't run a dozer. Looks like fun.
Dan25716 FF x.
Dose this guy know what he is doing
Для чего водой поливают?
Love it!
Guy on the D 10 knows what he doing , jts great watching this -
Bela makina
Cool
Banging rocks all day will wear on the operator as much as the dozer.makes my teeth hurt.need fire crackers to loosen em up abit.
I can only think of two word...can't drive.
Killdozer
Send for top soil gamble
This guys doing a real good job but probably not the best equipment for this type of job.
James Grant V
That’s hell on that bottom, drive it like you stole it,where’s the excavator?
the machine is very biggest¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡
Come back with English grammar please
I try not to be patronising in life generally , but what the f#$k is this guy trying to do ?
Jesse...he's doing the best he can with a piece of kit which isn't best suited to the job at hand.
TOO !! MUCH !! WASTED !! FUEL !! AGAIN !! VIDEO !! BETTER !! START !! DIGGING !! WITH !! A !! HAND !! SHOVEL !! HAS !! BACKSIDE !! SUPER !! GLUED !! ON !! SEAT !! FOR !! WAY !! TOO !! LONG !!!
ממש לא. מקצועי. בלד
