Meitei Groups Claim That Kuki Militants Were Responsible For Killing Of A CRPF Jawan In Jiribam

Tensions rise following the Jiribam killing, as Meitei groups accuse Kuki militants of killing a CRPF personnel. The Meitei Heritage Society condemned the incident in a press release and called for the Suspension of Operations (SoO) pact to be revoked. Conversely, Kuki groups allege that the violence began with an attack by Meitei police commandos on Kuki Village Volunteers (KVV), prompting retaliation. Kuki Inpi in a press statement blamed the Meitei insurgents, Arambai tenggol and Manipur police for attacks on Kuki villages in Jiribam. On point decodes with an expert panel.
