    • @CheffSalad
      @CheffSalad 10 лет назад

      Akshat Agarwal Really? And is 5x5 hard? I mean I know it is but HOW hard? How long would it take a first timer to finish solving it?

    • @akshatagarwal6776
      @akshatagarwal6776 10 лет назад +2

      Cheffsalad I.A. The 5x5 is pretty easy if you know how to solve 4x4 rubik's cube.
      My first solve took it 30 minutes, but my best is 7 minutes
      Yes, upgrading from a 3x3 to a 5x5 is quite hard but algorithm wise there is a parity algorithm which is really long and complicated and one simple algorithm. The steps are pretty easy to memorize, with the exceptions of the last 2 centres and the last 2 edges
      An 11x11 is REALLY complicated, yet I am 100% sure I will be able to do it. I will probably have to experiment a lot, but I will friend's 11x11 and will manage to solve it.
      OBVIOUSLY not in 1h:6m:29s.64ss. I am not an expert at large cubes, a
      and ok on the 3x3.
      I think I took 3 days of continuos turning(like actually one month)
      Check it out though, people have solved 11x11 in 26 minutes(whoa).

    For the uninitiated: this is pretty darn cool. I can solve 3x3x3 in a few minutes. But this is another dimension. On the other hand, this cube is curved. Every piece "just" travels in its orbit. It can't change altitude. In other words, you work from the center to the edges. Still pretty amazing

    • @JustinTimeCuber
      @JustinTimeCuber 9 лет назад

      Davidson Francois 37 seconds cmon You can solve it faster than that. How fast can you solve it? mines is 13 sec average
      Okay, my point here is that you shouldn't be saying this in the first place. You are faster than him. What does it matter? I am faster than you, and no one cares. He will get fast if he wants, and so will you.

    • @davidsonsimeus3298
      @davidsonsimeus3298 9 лет назад

      Justin Barker perhaps your right. Why don't you give me some pointers. I'm being serious. I've already mastered F2l, memorized almost all the plls. Not really good at oll. Is there any tips on how to get faster?

    • @davidsonsimeus3298
      @davidsonsimeus3298 9 лет назад

      Justin Barker And as for what I said In my earliest comment I assumed he cubes every day. That's how I got faster on top of the learning new algs.

    • @JustinTimeCuber
      @JustinTimeCuber 9 лет назад

      Davidson Francois Well, a lot of times, there are some general things you can do. Do a few solves, and figure out what you need to work on. To get sub-30, you should solve the cross in under 5 seconds, and finish the F2L in 20 (around 4 seconds per pair). You don't really even need full OLL to get down to 16 or so, but knowing some algs is always useful. Try to get faster at looking ahead, and most importantly practice every day for at least an hour, if you can. If you want to learn the rest of the PLLs, that will help too. However, it is fine to wait until you get to 20-25 seconds. In general, practicing will help, but you can work on more specific things to improve your times. That is what I'm trying to do to get sub 12.

    Easiest way to solve a rubics cube is to remove all the stickers around the center stickers on each side and replace. You also you can dissaseble the rubics cube by lifting up one of the center stickers with a screw in the center and disaseble...& reasembling your rubiks cube. :) I was a kid what better thing to do & that was my entertainent as well with solving my very first rubiks cube & playing outside with my friends.
    I passed the rubiks cube interist to my children it sits in a box on the shelf as a collectable. There more into their video games. So sad. : (

    not bragging, but as long as you know how to solve 3x3x3, 4x4x4, 5x5x5 and probably a 6x6x6, you can solve any other higher order cube. I solved a 7x7x7 without instructions.

      Also I ask me on the 11x11 are there not other parities?

      You have to know how to solve 1x1x1, 2x2x2, 3x3x3, 4x4x4, 5x5x5, and 6x6x6 cubes before you can attempt the NxNxN cube.

      I love solving cubes, but I would not call myself "cuber". It's probably one of the gayest names you could choose, of course, it's logical, but not a good name. And cube solving is not really important, it's just a hobby, why would you take it seriously enough to give cube solvers a name?
      The only ones that deserve be called "cubers" (or just recibe a name), it's those guys you see solving cubes in championchips, who take it to a professional level. If you don't, you are nothing but a kid playing with a toy cube, faggot.

      it's not hard just learn how to do 4×4 and maybe 5×5 that's it, and you solve the 2×2 by using your corner solving methods on the 3×3, because the 2×2 is just the corners from the 3×3, that is how you solve the 2×2 cube

      He solves centers first, generally either by intuitively pairing up blocks or by using commutators in the form of Niklas.
      Then, he solves the edges via a freeslice method, and he adapted some techniques from Hoya method to do so quickly.
      Finally, he solved it like a 3x3 using using a mehtod with many more than just one alg.
