This came to me right after an incredibly difficult month followed by a massive breakthrough in therapy. Right as this video started I knew it would be special. The way you capture life is incredible. I now feel both more happy and inspired, and I have new ideas on how to color grade. I hope you continue your passion for life, and inspire others to do the same. Thank you for creating.
2min in and i gotta say: this is insane, amazing style, im in awe with how gorgeous every single frame is! this doesn't feel like watching another video but like i'm about to watch one of my favourite movies! keep up the good work!
For this thousand times more interesting and honest film making than Hollywood. Would enz. pay money to see something like this in cinema. All the work you put in was worth it.
Just found this video; really digging the style and color grading. The hills might feel hard because it looks like your saddle might have been too high (around 13:55 your hips were rocking a ton). Not sure if you're still on the trip, but lowering even a few mm would use your quads and glutes more. Enjoy the ride!
"This might not look like it's going uphill, but fuck me" - something we've all said to ourselves as bike tourers and bikepackers. Too fuckin real. What a beautiful and enjoyable film my man, peace and love!
This is actually one of the best youtube videos i have ever seen… for real Just a few questions: 1.)What was your inspiration for doing the trip? Or do you just like to go on adventures for fun? 2.)What was your inspiration for the video creation? I might be wrong but im noticing some parallels to old Japanese movies
@@simwiseGanji Some of your shots look straight out of Yasujiro Ozu's work, they have that meditative quality about them. The great color grading also helps. What camera do you use, if you don't mind me asking?
Well fucking done. This is incredible. I’m into bikepacking and I’m trying to dial in my video setup. Trying to keep things as compact as possible. What are you using for audio? Any other camera gear you can’t live without on your trips?
THANKS!! yes i had same problems haha, so hard to bring everything. I just went with my camera, two small v locks, rode videomick pro, 3 lenses and a tiny lil tripod!!
@@simwiseGanji Yeah it's a constant struggle trying keep things lightweight. Always looking for smaller quality gear. Thanks for the reply. Can't wait to see more content from you!
thank you algorithm

I was slightly confused by the editing style, which I really liked. Super charming

Soundtrack is unreal! I am immersed!

I love this aesthetic... What camera are you using? If you don't mind me asking.
this was absolutely freaking brilliant! And the musics were amazing!
Technical question, what lens did you use and how in the hell did you take the shot from behind your back of you descending with the bike at 11:35?
I'd love to do this, but have no idea how to start. Thank you for the inspiration, amazing cinematography and soundtrack.
Just book a trip to japan and film everything haha. Thanks dunkmasterflex
