I have one of these. There have been problems with circuit traces going open and the jacks having problems - all repaired. The unit is improved by putting in modern opamps and using polypropylene capacitors where ceramic units have been - in the audio path no less! Also modified the band splitter filters which are originally implemented with Butterworth values by changing to Linkwitz-Riley values: a smoother sound altogether.
It sounds excellent i buy one of the dbx 2bx dynamic range expander with the wooden sides ,but to be honest with you guys i doesn't know how to hook it up and my systems should I go from my mixer into the dbx 2bx and back to the mixer can it works that
You can easily find the user manuals for these online by doing a Google Search. They have diagrams to show how to hook them up. I strognly urge you to read the manuals so you understand how they best function. Many men say it is npt necessary to read O&M manuals - That is a crock of crap!

Just picked up one of these - will be using it in a home recording setup. This demo convinced me to drive an hour to buy one for $10, thanks!
