i use 80 or 100 % acrylic yarn i don’t quite remember from a german brand and it is quite stretchy yeah but i personally love that idk abt washability tho since i haven’t had to wash any yet bcs i don’t wear my stuff lol
i like hobby lobby's baby bee yarn for clothes. it's so soft, but lightweight (depending on the yarn size) but not overly fluffy.
I also love bamboo yarn for garments. It is so soft & light for spring/summer garments! It does cost a bit more but worth it, to me 😊
Cotton are the best to do spring summer clothes.
or you can buy acrylic yarn and make your project and soak it in fabric softener and water overnight it makes it soft like fabric
happy crocheting❤❤❤
That's a great idea! Thanks for sharing!
@@MaeCrochets of course!! i’m currently using it to make a cardigan it works wonders
I did this for a vest but also went down a hook size making a tighter stitch so it didn’t stress too much
Wish I knew this before i brought 100% acrylic as a beginner
Same. It's so hard to work. So frizzy shiny and doesn't even maintain any shape. Idk what to do with it.
Crap. I'm making a skirt right now, all I have is acrylic 👁👄👁
@@CatfishWingsOfFire Good luck, acrylic is really hard to work with depending on the color😭😭

Look for *viscose* in the yarn's makeup as well.
i want a yarn that i can wash and dry w/ out damage or itch! any reccomendations brand wise
T-shirt yarn is very good for washing and soft, but I wouldn't recommend drying a crochet top because it could shrink
I forgot to put, when I mean t-shirt yarn I mean the thin stuff not thick. If you in the uk you can get the thin stuff from hobbycraft
acrylic & polyester break me out really badly I tend to stay away from those as well!!

Oh no, I'm currently crocheting a cardigan with acrylic yarn. Eh I don't care

Can you please recommend link for yarn

Stiffy cotton feel
Or soft cotton feel for a bra top
when they say something like “you pick” but yea like I don’t want to
