Líšeň remains have been held since 2012 thanks to the creative collaboration of the Líšňáci Ethnographic Ensemble and the Líšeň Theater. The Renewed Tradition follows a long and famous series of carnival festivities from the 18th and 19th centuries, which was interrupted only by the First World War. The celebration takes place every Saturday before Ash Wednesday, which marks the beginning of Lent.
