Holy Moses, John, that little town, Ouchi Juku, is a pocket of paradise. The babbling brook and those emerald green mountains blows my hair back. I can’t begin to imagine what it would be like to actually be there. The elderly look incredibly healthy and happy-a true indication of a healthy environment that fosters a healthy lifestyle. Thank you for sharing this beautiful video.

When John was trying to get the cats attention and started making the cat sound: my cat ears perked up, eyes wide and looking between me and the TV (she got very attentive when he change the meow tone). Lol 😅😆🤣😂

I can't imagine how much work goes into maintaining the thatch roofs on those buildings. They look very well-kept.

in most village, you can drink the water. it flows all the time from the mountain. and stone filters keep the water pure. still people are using the water for ordinary use.
Thanks John. Cool location. Loved your earlier Tsukuga-jo and onsen streams too. The view from the top of the castle was wonderful and you really enjoyed the onsen (although it was slightly dark to see the inside). Your dinner meal looked like a emperor's feast.

I love this kind of content! I enjoy your Tokyo streams too, but personally I prefer the countryside, like time travelling feeling. I saw your other video of this town too, that fish looked very appetizing. Also watched the recent onsen and sake brewery streams, I hope I can visit these places one day.

Looks beautiful. I had this town on the list for a tohoku trip I had planned for 2020, but sadly it didnt fit in the schedule because it is difficult to reach by public transport. Now that I see what it looks like, maybe I have to reconsider the scheduld for 2022

@@furinkazan4464 I wanted too go to Japanese university after class 12 because Japan is technologically advance in education field, people are friendly to every person and the places in Japan are quite which is very effective for me to study without any disturbance or distraction. This are the three most important point why I want to study in Japanese university although there are some other point but they are not that important. So will you help me please!

thats the type of town i would live in if i was to move to japan as long as they let me ad a new house with the same type of structure or buy one of the houses if posable! other wise i'm thinking to build one like that here in the states!.
