This felt like an ROH crowd in 2005, but bigger.
They knew all the chants, they knew all the spots, it was amazing to see
went 2 many philly ROH shows in 04-05-06, that time was insane. brought me back 2 a lil kid at ECW arena shows in 00. memories

Nice to see Joe using the Musclebuster again. Notice how he released the legs just before impact, turned it into more of a Suplex. Easiest way to make it safer and avoid the risk of another Tyson Kidd scenario.

Its pretty tough to rate these moment since AEW has so many awesome moments almost every night. That Tag Team match with FTR and Bucks was fire.
I can see how some people feel this way, I personally think the tag match earned it's spot, but any other night this is definitely number one. Love seeing Joe wrestling again, and of course everybody loves The Acclaimed

Joe is one of those rare wrestlers that just has that 'Don't mess with me'- aura. You know shit's about to go down when he's on your screen.

AJ had a chance to come over. He chose to tag with Omos for a year and wrestle Edge at Mania. I’m sure it’s financially beneficial for him. But Punk vs AJ is something we can only think about ☹️

Same! I popped so hard when he came out at Full Gear, but then its been just about nothing. This a dope way to put him back in the spotlight.
I can definitely see Joe either win the tournament or go after Scorpio sky to get the TNT championship. Having Joe create open challenges to see who steps up will allow so much of the young talent to grow their stock and have great showings against a beast like Joe.

The AEW crowd really seems to just wanna enjoy the show. I know it's a smaller venue, but they seem to be more into just enjoying the show and not being snarky you know what's. Wrestling is a work, but so is every movie. It's an athletic art form, and I really feel like the AEW crowd is genuinely a happier bunch when they get these genuine surprises that Tony Khan keeps popping on them.
He's gonna need ROH to display all the talent he has signed. Samoa Joe would be an immediate World Title contender two years ago. Look at Brian Cage, now it's legitimately a dog fight to get a shot.
That is why I pity AEW haters and all the people who never gave it a fair chance. They miss out on something that feels real special.
I understand all the fans that actually don't like the show but it seems to me that most people who diss on AEW do it out of tribalism and/or spite.
