I always think it's weird when artists seem surprised about processing they've made, while they're explaining it to us. 1:00 Btw - great video as always 👍
I find it so strange that he wouldn't put the soothe in first in order to "fix" the sound and then add saturation/compression after it's fixed. Instead, he adds harmonics and compression and then smoothens out the harsh frequencies, which seems like you'd be undoing a bit of the nice crunch. According to Fab Dupont you fix first then treat. 🤷🏼♂️
for some reason i cant find the stream where he showed what goes on his reverb and chorus buss..thought i made a time stamp on one of these videos but iv checked them all twice and cant find it :( any help to me sol state please & thank you?
@@SolStateMusic found there on the stream where he makes the template he shows how he sets it up. might've been that i was thinking of but could've sworn he showed in another one his reverb settings for drums/snares
This song slaps so much and to see a breakdown of it gives me next level motivation
Yes! Disclosure's on fire! Great to hear, go make some music!

Btw - great video as always 👍
Thanks Howard! In the full stream, guy mentioned making 200 songs for the album, and choosing the best 12 to release so that might be why.
@@SolStateMusic Ye that might have something to do with it 😂
@@SolStateMusic where is the full stream? I can't find it on RUclips.
Thank you for this reupload fam! Couldn't see it on their Twitch anymore 🙁

Pretty sure it's logic chorus and Valhalla vintage verb
@@SolStateMusic cheers man thanks i know that its those. in one of the streams guy actually talks about it tho and shows the settings on each

does someone know why he is routing the audio signal from ableton instead of using the audioclip in logic?
I'd guess it's just easier to quickly work with samples in Ableton.
Watching his latest stream, he said Ableton is just better for warping audio samples. And the song in this video was based on a garage drum loop.
This channel is fucking osm..
Thanks!
Where's the other guy
He'll join some other time!
Name of the track playing at the end of the video?
It's "Get Down" by this guy Sol State - fanlink.to/solstate-getdown
@@SolStateMusic cool track mate! so much groove on there
@@riptruo Thanks! It's free on Soundcloud (if you DJ).
Why just a few of EDM stars use FL studio ?
That's a million dollar question!
I've just heard KHSMR saying that FL Studio is way weaker than Ableton, regarding automation. Could be a reason.
@@dystopia-0616 It doesn't matter as long as you can make great music.
@@viorelursu564 Exactly!
So it's a sample, some drums and vocals? Disclosure is a fraud lmao.
