Great playing, I love the way you accentuate the rhythms; the syncopated nature of Kapustin's etudes always stood out to me. Also I'm super envious of your keyboard set up.
Goddamn, I'm so jealous, you play this piece as if it was super simple. I struggle so much to play this one ! It's incredibly difficult. Great job. The transition to the synthetic keyboard sound during the solo is a super good idea too. Jazzy
I’ve been listening to a lot of Kapustin lately and YT recommended me this video … this is amazing! And that section with the Rhodes taking the melody was unexpectedly stunning. Subbed!
Beautiful playing my dawg! I love that bass line which just goes to show you that the bass line and the composition in this piece might be the basis for many pieces in Japanese video game soundtracks!
Thanks for listening. This was played over a year ago, but I think I could play the bass much cooler now, especially the walking in the background of the electric piano solo!
Thank you for watching! I'm not that familiar with DTM, but I used the drum patterns in the Yamaha MOTIF keyboard piano. I also played the bass guitar myself with the MOTIF to match the drums and piano. It was a lot of fun! I hope Kapustin likes it, lol!
Thanks for always watching. I did not know Mr. Dupree. I have seen some of the videos and they are very cool. I would like to play as a trio next time!
The mix is mostly bass and drums with a distorted piano. Then at 1:18 in the new view the Rhodes piano is clearer. Any chance you can remix the audio? I would love to hear the piano part clearer.
Thank you for your suggestion. I didn't really understand recording and mixing then, and I still don't now lol. I've uploaded a newly rebalanced version of the song, so please listen to it! ruclips.net/video/pB-m1Fx9ClE/видео.htmlsi=-jHPZa5G2VQKOxW8
I noticed that too. I didn't understand how to edit properly at the time, and I was terrible at it, so the image and sound are out of sync. If I edit it now, I can make it more synchronized.

Thank you very much! I also like these two keyboards, Yamaha Motif and Nord Electro 3, a little old, but a friend gave them to me!
Wow, you have a great friend haha. I'm saving up for a Nord myself. Awesome stuff, brother.@@afterschoolreharmonization6405

I enjoyed playing the bass part!
I like the sound of this fender rose like electric piano!
I always thought that this piece needed such a jazzy accompaniment. Perfect!!!
I thought so too!
I tried to play a walking 4th note feel on the bass in the middle section, and I think it fits well.

Thanks for listening!
I experimented with the Fender Rhodes sound and I loved it!
I don't know if Nikolai Kapustin himself would like it, lol!

@@afterschoolreharmonization6405 No worries man.
I see, that's great to hear! Your playing is amazing! ^_^ :*
Great!
Thank you!
Ohhh, breathtaking!!
You told me about a year ago that you were teaching this etude, finally I heard it :) Congrats again!
Thank you for watching the video! I finally did it! Hope you like it!
R.I.P. Kapustin, he was a great man. 🙏🙏🙏
Japan and Kapustin existed for this!
I am very glad you commented that way.
Such smooth playing. I really like your interpretation. Did you make the drums and bass too??? Kapustin would be proud
Thank you for watching!

@@afterschoolreharmonization6405 Wow you are so talented!!!!!! I am also learning the same piece. How long did it take to fully master?
I choose to subscribe this channel because i love what you played... Greeting from Indonesian...
Thank you!
Hey man! everything about this vid is so lovely, great playing, love the synth & the studio space looks so nice
Wao thank you!
this is the absolute best kapustin performance on youtube. I was dying to hear it played on something other than the piano, so 1:17 is a treat.
I am honored to hear you say so.
The song is great, so it's cool to play it with any sound!

Sounds great, good job.😊

Was this inspired by Frank Dupree's trio take on the piece? 😮
Always great to see the improvement as well as the diversification of your 'library'
Thanks for always watching.
I did not know Mr. Dupree.
I have seen some of the videos and they are very cool. I would like to play as a trio next time!
Bravo🎉
Thank you!😊
Remarkable. You really have technical skill and style. Do you also learn classical piano?
I used the rhythm track on my keyboard and played the bass myself.
I'm glad you like it!
Awesome!
What cameras do you use by the way?
Thank you!
I took this video with an old Nikon digital SLR camera with a fixed focal length lens.
I want to get a newer camera!
Bass volume is too much, I think you should reduce it.
Thanks for the comment.
Yes, I will do that next time!

SO GOOD
Thanks for finding this video!
The visuals at 1:20 do not match the music. Your hands are playing a different part of the piece there.
I noticed that too.
I didn't understand how to edit properly at the time, and I was terrible at it, so the image and sound are out of sync.

ドンカマありでも、いけますね。
