hey, btw i saw your video a month ago before i bought the mic 3 weeks ago. I used to have the same mic (bm 800) as you did, and thanks to you I've upgraded my mic and it sounds amazing. 10/10 really cheap but also really good
This mic is in my mind and i was thinking if i buy something cheaper or save up for this i chose to save up im still on progress and your vid was the only one that reviewed this mic Thank you! im gonna buy this soon for content and gaming
Have been looking for a budget dynamic microphone because I moved to a way noisier place with no sound treatment, and my condenser mic soaks up every sound, and I didnt want to spend too much on another mic. I wished you had a more in depth analysis, but I can't blame you since your channel's focus is different. I guess I'll snag it for P800 and review it hehe. Thanks!
Hello! Sorry for not really going too technical and extra detailed with the review, I’m no audio specialist unfortunately 😭 But final conclusion, it sounds great! Just use a software for clean up if you need it on max cuz it will pick up background noise (like my electric fan). Hope you’ll enjoy the mic
Thank you! If the mic’s volume is on max, you can hear pretty much everything (yes even the fan especially if it’s as noisy as mine). Something I use is Steelseries GG Sonar, it has noise cancellation and pre sets for microphones, although it uses pc resources. Another alternative is Voicemeeter
@@KalxnYT can you try it on your next vid? I would love to see it. Im planning to do ASMR gunpla build but Im having trouble with boya by-mm1 ir picks uo literally every ambient noise. It hustle even on editing sofware like Premiere Pro
The echo?? Hm I didn’t really encounter an echo with mine. I suggest using Steelseries sonar, it has AI noise cancellation. That’s what I use when I stream and record.
If the volume is on max, it picks up everything (even the electric fan). Just adjust the volume, or use a software like Steelseries Sonar (live streaming) audacity (DAW) for clean up
i bought the bundle soundcard and the microphone. planning to use for livestreaming but idk how it realky works. i cant even hear the mic even its already connected to the soundcard
Like what I said po in the vid, you can either use it po as USB (plug the usb cable to the laptop/mobile device directly, no soundcard) or the XLR mode with an Audio interface po (Mostly studios use this po). I'm not certain how it would work with a soundcard po. Does the soundcard have a manual po?
I never bought any maono mics sorry. But from what I know the Maono DGM20 is just a usb mic. The Kusky FS200 can be used as USB (plug and play) and XLR (studio/audio interface) mic. The Maono DGM20 has customizable rgb meanwhile the kusky fs200 doesn’t. Maono has a software and Kusky doesn’t. It depends on what you need it for, but both are good.
If your sound card po has the input needed po then why not? Like I said po sa vid, it has two modes/cables. 1. USB mode - usb type c (pwede po direct sa laptop/mobile device) 2. XLR MODE - for audio interface. If yung sound card niyo po has XLR input then pwede po
I bought my BM800 like a year before the pandemic 😭 I had to let it rest because it started doing static noises and it can’t pickup my voice no more. Also, congratulations on the upgrade! Cheers! 🫶
@@KalxnYT Thank you, natatanggal na yung paint ng bm800 ko lol tapos nagstatic na rin siya. How was this mic? When your playing games with your friends? Madalas kasi kami magb discord.
@@DietherNM absolutely love the Kusky mic. I use it for recording and streaming. I never use discord that much po. But I’m pretty sure it works great for anything. USB mode is clear🫶
I recommend using the usb cable po (directly to the laptop, plug and play). It acts like a soundcard without a soundcard itself po. But if you insist on using it on a soundcard po, you’ll need a cable that matches the input po. If you’re using a v8 soundcard, it won’t be compatible po I think because it needs a different jack input. The xlr cable in the box can be used on an Audio Interface.
@@roddickpalmaria3047you don't need a phantom power in this kind of mic, and yeah if you're using xlr mode wala rin access sa rgb, volume and mute button sa mic kasi thats the job of the audio interface na.
You don’t necessarily need a sound card to use the mic. The usb mode is enough. From what I know, the v8 sound card has inputs for a condenser mic and dynamic mic (the ones used for karaokes) the cables for this mic don’t have that.
Saw this on Lazada looking for a gaming microphone. This was literally the only youtube video I could find.I appreciate it

Does it caught background sounds pretty loudly? Like if someone really far is talking, does the mic cancel it out or no?
Doesn’t really have a designated noise cancelling feature. But you can just lower the mic volume, or use Steelseries sonar for ai noise cancelling

great. were you using sonar with your voiceover? (i use sonar too and I thought this mic sounded amazing without the noise in the background)
@@cannacdrl yep! I use it during recording and streaming too
Can I use this for ASMR unboxing vidoes using mobile phones that supports OTG? If Yes, does it drain the phone battery quick?
