Well, I feel investors should be focusing on under-the-radar stocks, and considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, Because 35% of my $270k portfolio comprises plummeting stocks that were once revered and I don't know where to go here out of devastation.
Investors should be cautious about their exposure and be wary of new buys, especially during inflation. Such high yields in this recession are only possible under the supervision of a professional or trusted advisor.

everyone needs a margin of safety in their portfolios and just remember, it's time in the market not timing the market
IMO, de-risk your portfolios, shore up your core holdings, and take some profits while rebalancing your portfolio. A few stuffs I learned from my advisor and straight up! I've gained over $700k more within 3 years of financial advice than 8 years of self-directed investing.

Musk's political rhetoric on social media and his promotion of Trump and DeSantis are clearly having an effect. It's almost as if he doesn't care about the fate of Tesla and the shareholders as long as his opinions on social matters and politics are known. US politics is very dominant in global news and most of us don't want another 4 years of Trump. Elon sounded like a broken man on the call yesterday and it may be that he's already seeing a shift down in sales. I'm definitely never buying a Tesla now.

Tesla's 2Q24 results were terrible. Another quarter of meager profits. .42/eps diluted... works out to eps $1.68/yr... or a share price of $33.60 assigning Tesla a generous car industry 20 p/e. Outlook for Tesla is getting worse. Serious competition in the USA from Hyundai and Chinese automakers establishing plants in Mexico and USA. I see Tesla shares moving down to $40 range to match its anemic earnings and lack of growth

What a lode of BS no FSD level 5 Tesla is going to be driving around the USA any time soon. Our Model Y is great but nowhere near perfect, not even close. Until its 100% not 99.99% 100% FSD is only a driving assistant.
Tesla Supercharger network outside US has dropped the ball. They freaking fired the entire supercharger team, people won't buy EVs if service and chargers are not above expectations. Robotaxi story is a stale kool-aid atm, Elon is saying the same thing every year for the past 7 years.
