I just finally got a Mars 4 Ultra 3d printer and all the painting supplies I need to start out.. I'm super excited to start making miniatures and then painting them.
Thank you! I almost exclusively use the Raphael 8404 size 1. It's big enough for larger surfaces but the tip is still small enough to super fine details - I did all the NMM scratches and stippling with just the size 1. I also used some Artis Opus drybrushes for a few applications but not a ton.
That is so cool I'd buy it and I haven't even played Elden Ring only ever watched playthroughs, nice job! Would you be selling work in the future? I think you should, it's really quality work.
I've never considered it but thank you! The process takes so long I'm not sure if I could sell them at a reasonable price (it would be super expensive) but really appreciate you thinking it's worth it!

If the the work is of quality people will pay the premium. Just a thought. I wish you the best though and good luck! It really is great work.

I'm gonna be honest, i like the paintjob for millenia, but the base for me feels a little on the bland side.. could've used some shades on the flowers and ground from where millenia is moving around or maybe some warm tones in the flowers. Basically for me it just feels off.
Totally valid criticism! I completely agree, unfortunately I had to rush through the basing process to meet my video deadline. I would have loved to spend more time on it but I'm trying to learn how to make videos faster. As I improve on my process hopefully I'll have more time to give the details the love they deserve!

Granted not to copy, just to see tricks and tips on how to better understand how to make different shading and effects like the metalic look on millenia's helmet and arm prosthetic. :>

You know what, I checked the reference again and you're right! The lower part is more desaturated (more grey), but lighter than the top. Ah, colorblindness lol

The lower part of her dress should have been lighter then the top not darker right?
