  • What a wonderful event this was and it was extremely well organised considering so many people attended the railway Centre. It was a dull chilly day but at least it stayed dry. The video includes the double headed castles (5043 Earl of Mount Edgcumbe and 7029 Clun Castle) arriving at Didcot Parkway, ecs movements, entering Didcot Railway Centre, the line up of four Castle Class locomotives (including static 5051 Drysllwyn Castle), the railtour locomotives being turned on the GWS turntable, glimpse of Kerosene Castle, coaling Pendennis Castle, 4144 and 4079 in action on the demonstration line, views of the engine shed and workshop, the railtour locomotives preparing to depart and actual departure from Didcot Parkway and finally 4079 putting the ecs to bed at the end of the day.
