When I was like 6 or 7 in '98 or '99, I went to the Colorado State Fair in Denver and rode sheep in a bull riding style competition. It's not just you, Chris! Don't remember what it was called. I got to 4 seconds, fell off, and the sheep stepped on my arm. No broken bones, though!

That round coping is usually rollerblader friendly. Parks like this are fun because of the challenge they provide. This is usually where the locals create creative lines you wouldn't even think of. You guys should head slightly north to Dixon park. Has amazing down ledges.

My hometown has the worst. Murfreesboro, Tennessee is the #1 growing city in this country, the amount it has grown in the last 10 years is astounding and our "skatepark" is any empty parking lot because there isn't one.

Hate to get technical Gabe But if the steel is round, it's not angle iron ... it's pipe. (ie. water pipe)
Coping means anything that protects the concrete edge. angle iron coping or pipe coping

Chris is correct. I did ride a sheep has a kid in a rodeo. I'm from Québec Canada so they do this, or use to, were rodeo append.
Jason Lee 9Club has some great views on pop vs no pop and making sure a pop snaps instead of dangles.
Would love to see a video about this. Having the team work between all the different variations of tricks.

I built a ramp that was 45 degrees and I wrecked every time I went down it. Finally I had to lessen the angle. The ramp was pretty short if it was longer it would of been ok

My local skatepark had a bunch of garbage, broken ramps with sharp rusted metal and lots of graffiti. My friend and I are bringing a push broom next time we go and are gonna clean it up. We are 13 and 14 and just started skating 3 days ago and are doing pretty well and I’m pretty comfortable on my bored.

Come up to the north bay! Santa Rosa and Petaluma are super og skateparks Sebastopol is modern and buttery. Novato and San Rafael are nice as well!!

I think they mentioned that he was taking classes or something to improve on the behind the scenes business side of things, which makes sense since that's both his job and he's probably reaching an age where it huuurts to go anywhere near as hard as the younger skaters. Would still like to see more of him for sure though, even if it was just hanging out and commentating.

I don't think that warping of the metal is correct because concrete and steel expand at the same rate under heat. That's why they're the perfect match in all things construction.

Sonoma County has many parks... Even one of the oldest in California.. It's too close not to check it out

Go to the hopyard skatepark in pleasanton. it’s getting rebuilt soon so visit it before it goes under construction
Laytonville skate park. Crazy transition park. Carlos Lastra was here for a while he skated the park a bit. Skated with him a couple different times. Pretty sick.
Sheep riding is 100% a thing! McNug is not crazy! I used to do it when I was little in upstate NY and they do it where I live now in KS 👌
You guys should hit up the Watsonville skatepark. It got redone several years ago and is sick now
Mutton busting is indeed a rodeo sport (at least at some rodeos) where children ride sheep (sort of a children’s version of bull riding). It is banned in some cities & counties like New York City and Alameda County, Ca due to concerns over animal cruelty from the practice and safety concerns for the children but is still practiced elsewhere in the U.S. though it’s not a universal rodeo sport which is why not everyone has heard of it.
I don’t mean to bust your bubble. I grew up in the late 80s early 90s. And we had loading docks and parking lots and whatever we could find. At least it’s a place you can skate without getting arrested. That’s me just banging out a copper lining keep sk8ing!

YES and drop by the "park" in Syracuse while they're at it. It's basically a bowl with a couple random obstacles thrown in the bottom

it looks like a create-a-park in Tony Hawk, but they got bored after the first obstacle but still needed to add some for the achievement.
One day you guys should help take parks like this and add some stuff to em. Maybe a signature braille box or something. Leave your mark and help the not so great parks out.

I was going to guess Ken Mercer skatepark in Pleasanton or 6 Pillars in San Ramon. Indeed it was 6 Pillars 🙂 If you haven't done so, you should also visit the skatepark in Emerald Glen in Dublin; or Val Vista in Pleasanton - which also has a hockey rink.

Coming from the blader gang, I (and generally most of us) like the round rails. Most of our grinds feel more secure and locked on round coping vs square rails.
