Well, in 2018 their featured video was scrubbed squeaky clean and extremely inaccurate to the actual trends of that year, leaving out chunks of relevant but perceivably controversial content. This dishonesty resulted in its systematic boycotting. The criticism was so bad that it seems to this day measures are still being taken to cover up the event (to little avail). For example, the ability to see dislikes was quickly removed from the platform.

Any way Here's the brownie recipe:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

The actual reason why dislikes got removed is because of rewind 2018,well since it got so many hate-as punishment(kind of ig!,RUclips got rid of the dislike counter.Im surprised they didn’t remove dislikes entirely.
RUclips removing the dislike button was the early sign that the platform was gonna go downhill drastically from that point.

Anyways, here’s a cupcake recipe:
Ingredients:

I still feel like the fallout from the 2018 rewind was the real reason they removed dislikes but because RUclips is such a big company, it took several years for the circumstances for it to actually happen to present themselves. If this is actually the case behind closed doors, it would mean we cyber bullied RUclips off their own platform to a small but certain extent. Since we haven’t gotten another rewind since (I don’t think), and the dislikes were removed.
Fun fact: the youtube rewind one wasnt enough. It was a logan paul forest video that got lots of millions of dislikes

It doesn't stop cyber bullying. It actually encourages it because instead of a simple 'disagree' symbol, someone comments their disagreement which makes for an argument and encourages others to join in. What it does do is encourage people to comment which makes a comments section more active and more addictive.

RUclips claimed it was for small RUclipsrs but it was really to protect their feelings after Rewind 2018, also advertisers, mainstream news outlets, and movie studios. The logic never made sense "we're going to remove dislikes from the homepage but you can still see them", I don't know a single small RUclipsr who ever said "I'm okay with getting dislikes just as long as nobody else can see them".
You're right, it doesn't matter if you have a lot of views or a lot of likes, the main thing is that you do what you love and create content that you enjoy and seeing content that you love to show people is what's important and I also want to be like that

The dislike extension doesn’t ACTUALLY show the amount of dislikes, it just gives a rough estimate. It could be off by a lot, or it could be right on the dot, who knows.

1. People can just use the extension
2. The creator can still see it.
3. Even if they remove them, the button still exists so therefore people can continue to dislike a video just other people can’t see them.
