i disagree with the explanation of benefits outweight the cost, then crime will be committed and vice versa.. it does not explain the circumstances with kleptomania syndrome, focus is so much on opportunity and neglecting the responsibility to accept his actions or inaction.
She addressed it, the consideration of psychological and social factors in the causation of crimes are two other theories which both exclude rational choice as a causation
