My Time at Portia is the only game ive ever seen that has dinner parties. you construct the outdoor seating area, make individual dishes and place them. if you make favorite dishes of the guests you invite, you get more relationship points after the party is over. plus its hosted in your own backyard and goes into the evening, so outdoor lights turn on, making the experience that much more nice. this game looks really fun, but dang, them graphics are an eyesore.
I love nearly everything LOTR. This is not going to be one of them, because it's so unfinished looking I could cry. It looks like the test models in blender but they never got around to applying the textures/UV maps.
I feel you. I think the stylized look is similar to some other cozy / indie titles so I don't think it's necessarily a matter of ability, but art direction. Maybe a combo of both, who knows!
I like the cooking focus, but I hope there is variety in quests and activities enough to make you really feel immersed into the world and community of the shire.
Can anyone ease my pain? :( I know they say Holiday 2024, but I really want more specifics. I am guessing Hobbit Day in September, but Holiday season starts in October right? I just need this game now 😢
Unfortunately we won't know anything more specific until they announce, but holiday to me implies end of November / December. Sadly I think if it was going to be September they would have said "Fall 2024"
I’m absolutely excited about the cooking focus, food is a pretty important part of the hobbit lifestyle.
I wasnt excited about this game, but everything I hear about it just gets better and better!

That's right, I forgot about the dinner parties in Portia! My Time at Sandrock has them too!
This has changed my mind, I was quite skeptical when the trailer came out but now I'm excited ☺ thanks for the review!
Ah yay I'm so glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!

Thank you for this video 😍 this game sounds and looks very relaxing and easy to play so I am looking forward to get it and play when it comes out 😊
I can’t wait to be able to get this! I want it so bad!
I'm excited!
I like the environment but the character art style has that uncanny valley look.
I want this so much.
Me too
I didn't know Weta was doing this
yep! I believe this is their first video game.
it Sounds nice and the environments are great but oh my god i really wish the characters didn't look like That

Such a nice channel, you got a new sub!
Looking forward to it. I am hoping that they do a good job of it. And that it’s not going to be another Fae farm travesty.
Looks good will there be pets to keep
they better ad multiplayers or I'll have to pass.
i have enough games for myself, I just need something family will like too.
I haven't seen them say anything about multiplayer, but this would definitely be a cute game to play with family.
Sad dei woke game. What, no hobbits in wheelchairs?
Are you saying video games shouldn’t have characters in wheelchairs? So what about Bentley from Sly Cooper?
@TheGhost-kk7jj that’s political brain rot for you
