YES, it is coming to the switch. We do NOT have an ETA. Switch is a horrible pain to deal with and because this game is made in unity, despite it being pixel art, it’s actually NOT very well optimised thanks to unity. It heats up my gaming computer big time lmfao. So they have a LOT of work to do before they can release it on switch; it will likely run FAR better on the new switch coming out next year. They ARE working on it currently. - Literally focused on the switch update. ALL their info is posted on their discord and the devs do daily QnAs. Their Twitter gets harassed by people constantly going “GIVE US SWITCH” and it’s embarrassing and makes the company basically only talk in their discord (they are SUPER SUPER active, like every day active!) I suggest going to their discord, they are great at updating us there, and they get far less harassment there too.
I found Croakwood announcement trailer show up on my feed! It's a game about building a cute relaxing village for frogs, and I really love the earth tone color palette, and artstyle brings me back to those cartoon movies in the 90s. I've late backed for Chef RPG because it's the closest game I had found at the time that reminds me of the old Restaurant City game in the 2010s on Facebook. I'm also very curious about Discounty. It's really nice to find relaxing games that aren't about farming, and I'm glad that there are more variety under the cozy genre and branching out. Thank you for the list Eeowna!

Love the video! As a fellow cat parent, I've also stumbled upon a good amount of cat games in the summer games and next fests (and from fellow youtubers). I don't know about their status on the Switch, but if there's any interest they are: Neko Odyssey(cat photgraphy game), Katsl(cat city builder), Galaxy Burger (space cooking game with robo-kitties), Magical Harvest (seems to have cat themed creatures), HiroCato (platformer), and the weird and silly Space Boat (play as a cat detective in space investigating in her very own mech).

Okay okay okay. This is PACKED with do many great games! However I HAD to pause my video as I internally screamed in Joy. Chef RPG is a game I REALLY wanted to play, watching the Game Dev'd devlogs here on YT and I had NO IDEA that a switch port is actually confirmed (the only way for me to play). Thid is so exciting! If it wasn't so early in the morning I would jump in joy. Never been this excited for any gaming news!❤
I know the devs of this game made an announcement before all of the directs, but I was still shocked that Fields of Mistria got a demo release for Steamfest lol. Out of the games mentioned here, the ones I have my eye on are Chef RPG and Grave Seasons. Chef RPG does have me a bit nervous since I normally don't do management type games, but I am willing to give this game a chance because of customization of what type of restaurant and the fact that it has romance. For me that's mandatory for any kind of life or farm sim at this point lol. Grave Seasons, I only worry about potential anxiety it could bring in figuring out who the killer is and if this person ends up killing a love interest I want to persue or the fact the one I will like will be the killer.
Part of me wishes I had the constitution to play games like Fear & Hunger, I’m so fascinated by indie horror-but I’d much rather experience that sorta thing secondhand.. what I really want to play are games like this! Thank you! I’ve never heard of any of these, other than Life is Strange ofc. I really wish I had a PC to play Grave Seasons & After Love…also Wanderstop 🥺

I'd love some Ogu and the Secret Forest. It's early access on Steam, but they've done so much with it, and it's the most adorable and fun game. I keep coming back to it, and I'd love it to get more hype.

I tried the Europa and On your tail demos the other day. I liked on your tail, even the minigames were alright and I'm not usually one for minigames. I wonder if anyone else was disappointed with Europa. Pretty game but not much to it in terms of game play and story. Not for me
@Eeowna, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do a video on how to work the steam deck!!!!! I have one and have yet to figure out how to work anything other than traditional joy stick and buttons!!! UGH its so frustrating that i almost HATE the deck
Download the Lost and Found demo. You can use the sticks or the track pad, but (edit from "and") the (right) trackpad is way more intuitive, IMO. I feel like it is a great way to rewrite your brain on using inputs. I've never had to use other inputs for a game and it felt so natural.
