I love unique homes these are " extreme art you can live in. This is a different type of home, completely. These homes are Art projects where the artist made themselves a place to live in Harmony with their Art.
15 - Way cool but a bit pricey. 11 - Hobbits of the World Unite! 10 - Plenty of light! 8 - Awesome, I love it. 7 - Great planning. 6 - Use what's available! 4 - Reminds me of the 60's. 3 - I love the way it fits in to the landscape. This is possibly my favorite on the list; the scenery doesn't hurt it either! 1 - Why are more buildings designed like this, so efficient and really well thought out.
I think it’s great that ppl are inventing and using their own imagination and art. And not caring about what others thinking. One house he lost his wife and his life for what he believed in.thank you for sharing.
People dont often understand that good design in housing should enhance the lives of inhabitants, bu creating a feeling of sentience. The more extraordinary a structure is, I believe that it will be less likely to provide long term satisfaction, and the converse is just as true.
Perhaps as a Movie Set or Aerial View a few of these homes could be immortalized in The Cinema! Others might become Vacation Rentals/Tourist sites. My favorites: #13 The Winchester House of Wyoming #Zurich, Switzerland; a taste of quirky if you're tired of Conservative #8 Roundabout House, #7 Lubbock, Tx, #2 Bio Morphic, Israel and #1"sustainable /renewable" energy use models.
Practical cheap green energy efficient off the grid. Did I say cheap? These are the new standards of hip home architecture. The time when domiciles are always expensive and require going into debt over are an unnecessary vestige of past times. It's a point of view that only benefits the rich as demonstrated dramatically in 2008. Community not debt. Check out "my little homestead" as a good example.
My dad lives next door to this house in theoule sur mer 20 minutes from Cannes! It looks quite small in person and sits atop a cliff. Great cross breeze from that vantage point. Pierre also designed some cool apartments close by at an exclusive resort that people say looks like the flint stones houses! My aunt and uncle have a spot immediately next to my dad but we got the land in a condition. And that was that we kept part of it public as it’s a historical site featuring a working sundial, it’s importance unknown other than it’s pretty and it tells time. But teenagers go out there to party and smoke weed and make a lot of noise! Anyway . . . . I live in Toronto in my car. Not kidding! I’ve been there maybe 8 times since 1994! And no I didn’t do anything bad to anyone. I’m adopted and rebellious - not to mention I say what’s on my mind ! I love this channel .
So when do they start taking weather conditions more seriously in the exterior design ? None of us know how bad our freak weather conditions could get or even the security we may need, it would be nice to see more designs that would cover both in a pleasing manner
I like the idea of free form housing construction but the way it is currently done is very expensive. Forming wire mesh to unusual shapes and spraying it with aircrete. I hope in the future 3D printed homes will be able to provide a less expensive alternative to achieving the same effect. If there could only be a way to eliminate the stair step look this this process.
I cant understand why, when there is so much new understanding about housing and new architectural understandings, that councils refuse to accept new ideas, and force conventional styles in towns and cities. In summer, I am sitting in unbearable heat, in winter, I have enormous power bills to keep warm. I loved seeing these houses.
These homes are a fine example of people with too much money to waste. ALL are hideous. All are expensive to upkeep. None looked warm, welcoming or cozy.
While I agree I'm tempted to delete your comment because I like to keep this a politics free zone. Let's have just one forum without it in our lives and focuss on other things.
The house is in Australia where there is an architectural tradition of keeping the original home (usually around 70-100 years old) as close to its original form as possible, that includes the imperfect wall surfaces.
This house is for sale at (The ungodly price of) too damn much money i'm glad i built mine when they were NOT either popular or trendy, i spent less money and i'm glad it's built. it's small, cheap and homey' .no hundred thousand dollar's either.
We don't have footage of how they are made. The companies either didn't didn't make it available or didn't film any. That would be a wonderful thing to include if possible.
Thanks for watching everyone! 😍

SNOW WHITE COTTAGE IS WONDERFUL!!!
All the buildings would be perfect for movies!
All of them were kewl, but I think my favorite was #2. The curves and style was very appealing, along with the solar ability built into its design.

You can see house n°10 on Netflix in "The world's most extraordinary homes", season 2, episode 1.
15 - is total ripoff. This kind of architecture is very cheap to build.
WOW YOU DONT SEE TOO MANY HOUSE LIKE THESE! A MUST SEE!
Those homes are so unique and cool, fun, fun to look at!!
I saw building number 13 (the Smith Mansion) myself way back in 1989!
Numbers 11 and 3 were my favorite homes. They both had a comfortable feel. I also enjoyed the craftsmanship.
Mushroom house was awesome
بيت الفطر والبيت رقم واحد.قمة في الابداع
Cool choices and great job. Thanks again.
I grew up near the “mushroom House” its located in Powder Mill Park, Pittsford-Victor, NY... i also lived near the Steel House outside Lubbock, TX.
I think it’s great that ppl are inventing and using their own imagination and art. And not caring about what others thinking. One house he lost his wife and his life for what he believed in.thank you for sharing.
So very interesting! Thank you! I love houses made with working with the natural environment, this is great
flex house amazing af 2021 visions

Number 13 is like the Wincester house of log cabins.
The mushroom house, the one in Israel with the bubble windows and the final entry were my favorites

Boa madrugada, São realmente casas únicas. Fiquei apaixonada. Parabéns aos desenhistas e arquitetos.
Wonderful
This goes to show you what can happen when talent meets to much time on hand 😂👍🏾
The Helio Dome resembles a top resting on its side.
I live near the Mushroom House. It's in the Powder Mill Park in Bushnell's Basin in Rochester, NY.
All of those are beautiful but my favorite would be a an 18th century farm house in the south of England!
The airplane house on lower fishers rd and the mushroom house both right around the corner from where I used to live .
Unique homes for sure, fun to watch.
I love the seamless blend into the add,and out of very nicein
I like the Czech house that goes up and down and turns!
#14 outside of Mexico city looks like a X-Mas ornament. I like the different colors of windows. My favorite was #8 the rotating home.
AWESOME!!! I want to live in the mushroom house.
Go for it!
I like the Heliodome
If you make another video You might look into The Windmill house in Ravalli Mt USA!
You should have featured the Hyde house in Crystal River, Florida
The #13 home intrigues me.
5 looks great for kids,
But i like 1 the most for it's energy saving abilities
Last one is a window washers nightmare.
The Heliodome for its practicality.
nice piece of art :)

They can keep them all.

Transparent photovoltaic cells.
These videos are nice, but could use more content instead of rushing through them.
Ahh, I’m sorry. You lost me at the start, my mind went numb fro the point you mentioned 355 million dollars for the first house.

just my prediction around #4 in the list

Heck yeah, I always wanted to see this . Very cool!
I would not want to wash the windows on #1
at the 8.15 minute you can see the wall with balloons on the plaster .... houses of millions of dollars ... it is not admissible.
The house is in Australia where there is an architectural tradition of keeping the original home (usually around 70-100 years old) as close to its original form as possible, that includes the imperfect wall surfaces.
Wow, I never thought it would happen, but I dislike all of these. Simply ugly or too weird interior so I couldn't imagine feeling good in it.
😍😍😍😘😘
Great but TOOOOO MANY ADS!!!
Just delete them; easy, peasy!!!!
Nice accent Texas?
Most of the houses show a tremendous amount of childish fantasy and a complete lack of creativity
