I have an off meta sugggestion: Lane Vi but with phase rush/mana flow band/absolute focus/scorch with Ultimate Hunter and Eyeball collector for runes Build goes as such: Eclipse -> Essence Reaver-> Wits End if AP or Deaths Dance if against AD. After that core build bruiser to survive. You should have enough damage and cdr to have Q on a 4 second CD. The playstyle is hit and run. Q -> AA -> E then disengage. and you do on repeat until you can all in and kill with Ult

just tested a little different version of ap ez statik : you take absolute focus gathering storm and eyeball collector of course to get some additional ap ( as you said ) but you go rabadon directly after statik with the buffed rabadon and runes + dark seal your statik waveclears really hard at 2 items already and then you just either mythic or lichbane and end up on 700+ ap anyway it just seems better to get a fat ap amount from raba+ runes before buying lich as lich with 100 ap is kinda sus
No, You don't. You are not thinking about this properly. The whole reason to rush statikk on AP ezreal is to have waveclear. You get 1.1 AP ratio vs minions, so You need as much AP as fast as possible in order to utilize the item. And no item combination will do that better for You than deathcap, because of item components. For other items, You pay for cdr, mana, sheen, movespeed, whatever. But a rod is 60 AP right there, right then. Completing rabadon is another 48 AP raw after the buffs - which is not bad for 1.1k gold. And if You factor in adaptive runes, absolute focus and gathering storm, it'll be another ~10 AP on top, making it THE most efficient pure AP buy.
@@GlacialScion you missed the point you use runes and the dark seal to have the highest possible amount of ap on 2 items the first being statikk and the highest is rabadon its purely about getting enough ap to waveclear and be able to do your job as a midlaner lich with 0 ap makes no sense because its 50% ap ratio with low ap if you only have lich thats why lich is never built as first item (look at ekko/fizz) as the powerspike is ass if you cant scale that 50% ap on it going raba directly after statikk especially with the raba buff lets you get 250ish ap which is enough to kill the ranged minions with statikk while on lichbane you dont unless you have a stacked mejai. so its one of the very specific cases where deathcap would be value that early.
When I go AP Ez I like to max E first, as doesn't get shorter CDs when leveling, but the damage + ratios increase. And as I often build AD first (Muramana + new Stormrazor) I won't have a lot of AP at the beginning. At max like single tome or something to get a bit of AP, but not a full item. And because of that I either max Q or E first depending on if I want to get some AP first or get Muramana + Stormrazor / Statikk first.
Pls try to work on this build I feel like manamune into ludens, then Static shiv and lich would probably work too right? And maybe try ingenious hunter, so lich bane, ludens procs more often and tear stacks faster :) id love to see further experimentation
Day 22 of asking Pekin to play full attack speed ahri for the off-meta climb!! The new patch has ap ratios on the attack speed weapons, so build nashor's and this even better :)
Here's a stupid but fun idea. Although Diana has no ad scaling (pls riot) try out Eclipse, Prowler's Claw, Muramana. I think those would be the core items and you take Sudden Impact and Ingenious Hunter.

I don't think W max is ever optimal. You should still go Q max or atleast (3 points into Q) for cs-ing, you still need to spam Q to lower your CD's, W doesn't get that much scaling. Before the item rework i used to go ER, Muramana, Luden's, Gunblade. Gunblade used to proc W that was a very good build
I know it ain't off meta but I'd love to see Vex again. I just had a doomed game on Wild Rift (nexus was open/ Swain support afk/Xayah not doing much dmg) and turned it around with Vex. I am made up of 90% dopamine rn, that's how exciting it was! Seeing how a challenger plays vex would be nice.
Items never proc dark harvest, same way L. Torment and Demonic dont, static shive doesnt get you DH procs.... Honestly I think its the right call that ur champ has to proc it, not ur items.

I think shiv was a good starting item. The ad and attack speed earlier is better, at least in my opinion. Makes it easier to cs.

I think Ezreal AP with Statikk is an amazing build now because what Ezreal lacks in the midlane is waveclear and you have that with Statikk.

They've since buffed shiv so you don't need that much ap anymore, about 70 ap is enough to kill casters. Shiv->Luden's->Rabby is solid

As an aside, getting Static Shiv on Zoe in ARAM feels amazing.
Before you climb too far up could you do AD Zoe with the spell book rune and upgrading her w first? Zoe sup who suddenly got smite sounds tilting.
This has to be one of my first fun build I theory crafted. I was not good enough to make it work but it has a special place in my heart. :)
I think good mythics on AP Ezreal are Night Harvester, and Ludens. Both offer burst. NH offers HP, and Luden give AoE.

Stormrazor scales on AP and is on hit so it works well with Q. What Ive been buiding is shiv, then ludens, lichbane, storm razor, deathcap.
