I’m a huge fan of Raul Malo, who in the 90’s was compared a lot to the voice of Orbison. They’ve seen gone from country, rockabilly, swing and a new album is coming out now but the last album was “en Español” and was FABULOUS! Raul is 1st. Gen American of Cuban parents. Raul can sing anything but you have to respect someone who can belt every song, BUT doesn’t. Sometimes it frustrating but it leaves you wanting those queen jewels, when any song he sings is a gem. Whatever mood you are in, between live stuff and official releases, there is a CD (or more) of whatever genre you want to hear. It’s called restraint, like Edge and it makes them a masterful addition to the team.
Larry is like those engines that can drive you anywhere smoothly, not a V8, a classy V6 perfect performance with all those ups and downs that just go and go with the rhythm of the band, amazing.
