1:01 Duuuude, the only true reviewer that showed the damn water tank and that actually goes over the product in a real world settings versus giving a bunch of sale punchlines. Thanks man!!

Does it have a way to just produce hot water for tea? The original line version of this does, so I was wondering if they kept that feature.

You can purge the water out of the steam wand before the pump kicks in to get dry steam. It's super easy. Start a steam cycle, then stop after the water flows out and steam starts. Test by raising/lowering the wand - if it starts a cleaning purge, you missed it. Try again, about 4-5 seconds.
Clean the wand after frothing, then lower the wand to purge. Also, swirl the pitcher of frothed milk to unify the layers into one. That's what makes latte art possible and successful. The key to successful microfoam is dry steam, not a higher temperature - milk can 'break,' when it does, it smells like butter and you have to start over. Been there done that. lol.

In the review of @ecscoffeeinc you wrote that it´s a hard pass. What made you change your mind?

@@nzznvm I still say "hard pass" on this one. I have a Creatista Plus that expels a ton of condensation on the steam wand before I get dry steam and I was offering my CP solution for this machine. Actually, I've improved it even more. After brewing 'espresso', actuate the steam, watching the wand tip... when dry steam comes out, pull the wand forward briefly and the proceess will pause - insert the milk pitcher and continue the steaming where you left off. Perfect, silky milk (not watered down) for latte art. I just use 2 capsules to get a double shot BTW. I have 6 espresso machines, the ECM Classika PID is my daily driver and the Creatista Plus is my backup for when I don't have time and need a mocha capp quickly.

I had to trawl through about 7 “reviews” and hundreds of comments before I found a single mention of microfoam and dry steam. Thank you for providing the answer I was looking for, @Satine_Moisant 😊.

Stumbling on this just now. So, you mean lift it once the water flows, then quickly insert the milk and continue? Or lift, which stop the cycle, then hit the button to start the cycle again? Thanks!

I must like my coffee like caveman coffee. Because it's funny right when you said look how rich it is in my mind, I was thinking "man, does that look Bland". Your video was great though! My oCD kicked in when you didn't have a towel to wipe your milk off the table. But once it dried up, I felt much better. LOL. I don't know if I can go back to pods. I like grinding mine now. But I am looking for an upgrade. Thanks for the video. You're very well spoken which is nice. I would get some better lighting maybe.
And keep some moist towels on hand! good luck, brother.

Do this in the right order. Make your coffee into the mug, and purge the water out of your steam wand. Steam your milk in the stainless milk container, and pour your steamed milk into the coffee, spooning the froth on top. Dont do it backwards by steaming the milk first and then brewing your coffee. Trust me, you will end up with a better latte if you go Coffee, THEN milk.

Wrong, for a latte macchiato it’s milk first.

Buddy, please familiarise yourself with the machine before you put out a video on it. And what you did to that macchiato made me weep. Give it a stir....
