I think the major reason why people don't watch full videos is because they aren't used to see reality of combat. they are used to see overly dramatic effects and catchy moves in media, which can make reality look ''bland''. But I freaking love this. Keep going.
The reason i enjoy it is because I'm a fan of Fromsoftware's souls rpg games. And i think their fantasy is about close to reality. So watching this video is definitely an enjoyable entertainment for me😂
2 dudes rolling in the dirt with sword and having fun, that's what man need, remind me of my childhood fighting with wooden sword with the boys lol Cool and fun video Dash as always, also my wife seems to like more and more your video I wonder why hahahaha🤣
This is by far my favourite channel! Loved the videos with you guys together, who knows what the future holds 😊 Thankyou for making awesome content and for always putting a smile on my face 😁 Definitely worth watching to the end everyone!
Sick video. As someone who throws teaches/aerials in swing dance (flips, lifts, etc) I do think the shield vault is more plausible than you might have found it to be. I've consistently found that technique, timing, and coordination with your partner is way more important than raw strength. I know you both are super physically capable in strength, coordination, and martial arts training, but I think with a bunch of practice and maybe some coaching you could get something significant there
You could very well be right, Art is much more of the Aerial acrobat than me 100% so I have decent abilities in some things but flying through the air is not one of them haha

@dashrendar5320 "tryharding" is a term that is often used negatively, but it would seem this kind stranger is flipping that on its head. It is a ridiculous term though lol, it's basically the same as getting picked on for knowing the answer when a teacher asks a question, but the "gamer version." I know it is not a spear but I used to catch a 6ft wood staff thrown at me when I was a kid and yes it was thrown full force at me. So the spear catch and release is what I call plausible
Your ability throw sticks and javelin this straight is really coo ! Its much harder than it look ahah my throws always end up in a bad rotation and hit the target with the body of the stick.. not the point. Anyway great video
Lovely it, it reminds me of me and my brother taking turns hiding behind things and slinging at each other just to hear and feel it from the other end, we hurt each other quite a lot growing up
Having done taekwondo training where we held up these big padded rectangle shield things and had someone jump kick against them, I can say that it is possible to hold against a kick but but very difficult
I'd love to see someone around my size (193cm 280lbs) just go ape on the shield wall trope. Still wouldn't change the outcome though, but it'd be funny!
The spear catch is not a myth. As a teenager I had friends that were a little bit wild and we would throw a spear back and forth. It's not very difficult once you get the hang of it.
Spear catching scene reminded me of the Hawaiian training that the kings and warriors did back in ancient Hawai’i. The training was so rigorous that King Kamehameha was one of the most profound spear and throw catchers of his generation.
