DJI Mavic 3 4K drone footage of Glasgow at night

- This evening I took my DJI Mavic 3 drone out to Glasgow city to test out the new firmware update which included Night mode.
I flew up and around the Novel building which is the Glasgow Caledonian student accomodation.
I flew over Buchanan Bus terminal and did a hyperlapse and then flew over to Cineworld and then to Glasgow Caledonian University.
I finished up over the river flying down to Barclays bank and then taking a Hyperlapse across the river looking at the Riverboat Casino.

Absolutely, there are some spots that you will need to check drone assist , but yes you can fly your drone.

Nice introduction, mate. The night shots look fantastic almost without any noise at all. I have only noticed some stuttering here and there. Which shutter speed did you use? Nice smooth flying and fantastic night views of Glasgow.🤘👌
Thanks so much mate , I am glad you enjoyed it and appreciate your feedback. I was very happy with the noise levels too, surprised infact. Yes the stuttering was strange I wonder if that was from post I was looking at the footage and it seems to be OK. As for shutter speed I left it as default with night mode. Not sure if it can be changed. I will check on my next flight :-) thanks again mate
@@droneageuk Did you speed up the footage in post or change the frame rate of the timeline?
Ahhhh yes, I did change the frames. That will be it. I'm going to need to check that the next time I edit actually. Keep trying new things and this one didn't turn out ad well as I'd hope
@@droneageuk If I change frame rates or speed up the footage I use optical flow to get it a bit smoother. But I am not an expert either and sometimes still encounter problems with stuttering after postprocessing. However, most people won't even notice.😉
@@hdi4eva-castlesbydrone531 I do that too usually however I think I may have forgotten to select it. Oraybe 120% was too much and caused the stuttering. However I do only really notice when flying around the GCU building. Practice makes perfect my friend:-)
