As a local who was dragged up in Glasgow some 74 years ago I had a lot of trouble getting my bearings, The bridges were my anchor. To east at Peoples Palace on Gretna Green to west at Anderson Bridge. Need to study video more.
Disappointing footage showing only part of Glasgow. Glasgow is a world city voted in the top 50 most livable cities on the planet. Glasgow was European City of Culture 1999, hosted a record 5 European Cup Finals at Hampden Park, was listed in 'the World's top 10 must cities' by The New York Times, hosted 'the best ever Commonwealth Games' in 2014, held the European Athletic Championships and hosted the Cop 26 Climate Change Summit attended by world leaders. Glasgow is a world city. Glasgow was voted The Friendliest City on the Planet, and it's true. You can talk to anyone in Glasgow. There are no heirs and graces in Glasgow. Glasgow doesn't care who you think you are, but on a visit to Glasgow, you will likely find out who you really are. Glasgow is a beautiful city, with beautiful people. The architecture in Glasgow is among the finest in this world. The city's motto - 'Let Glasgow Flourish' - and 'People Make Glasgow'. In springtime, Glasgow's parks come into their own. Glasgow has more parks than any other city in Europe. No wonder Glasgow is known worldwide as 'the dear green place'. The skies in Glasgow are magnificent, especially if you come from a country where you see blue skies every day. Glasgow is not a blue sky city. But I love it here. It's not cold. but it can be wet. However, New York gets more rain than Glasgow. Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park and the beautiful Clyde coast are on our doorstep. Glasgow is a brilliant place to live. Scotland is the most beautiful country in the world. Welcome, all.
@@alastairhosey4950 It's no better than a thousand other cities. Most cities have something "world renowned" the trouble with Glasgow is that so much of it is a dump. Yes, the West End is nice, Botanics is nice, Downhill is nice but Castlemilk, Maryhill, Govan and most other places are ghastly, especially combined with the shit weather
