So thankful that if Jesus returned today, my husband, children, their spouses, all my grandchildren and I will be ready for heaven!!! What else in life could I ever want? No gifts needed this Mother’s Day. I am so blessed already. Thank you Father!🙌🏻🙏🏻
Karen, you will never know the spiritual legacy that you are leaving for us, but I want to share this with you. My 12 year old son is sometimes around when I listen to your FPF posts and your other preaching, but he was particularly upset after an awful incident at school. My husband is in recovery from tongue cancer and various other things had just built up. I held him tight and said "Let's pray, let's bring all of this to Jesus" My son replied "Yes Mum, and after, can you and I go listen to Karen Wheaton?" Surprised that he even knew your name, he said "I feel peace when she is speaking and I like seeing Palmer" I had no idea he was paying attention. Now he listens weekly. Thank you so much for your witness and faithfulness to share the word with us. Blessings
My mother is in the hospital with what the Dr says is incurable. But my God is bigger, and he already confirmed with me that he is going to heal her so this mothers day I am at the hospital digging deep into the word and waiting for God to heal her in his time! Amen thank u Jesus!
Hallelujah Karen!!! I had no heritage of family that followed Jesus. But Jesus saved me while I was in college and I have been on the Jesus journey ever since!! As I continue to grow and walk with my Lord…..I never cease to be amazed at how He constantly shows me His truths. I watch my one and only child, my daughter Sarah, as she has and is growing in her walk with Jesus. I asked God years ago to break the cycles in my heritage that were so destructive to my mother and grandmothers, and He has been so faithful to me. And I see how God has and is answering that prayer in so many ways. My daughter is such an amazing mother, and she is overcoming a heritage that didnt include God in their lives. Praise God for His redemptive power…….we now have a Godly heritage to pass on to our children and grandchildren. I am forever grateful and in awe of God for this amazing gift.
After 3 years of very minimal contact. My husband came over to visit me. My husband answered questions I had and I didn't have to ask him. It was a pure miracle from the Lord. I'm so thankful for this visit. I continue to pray for him to come to his senses and come back to God. As of now i keep my eyes on the Lord to see where he is taking me now in this new season. When I got home from the Dallas, Texas conference, I kept saying I'm believing for movement in the spiritual realm and the natural and it happened. Thank you Jesus! I miss the old days too. I remember when we wouldn't get home from church sometimes till after 12 at night or later and we had to go to school the next day and my daddy had to go to work but we didn't care. As long as God was moving ,we stayed and moved with Him. Those were the days. Now days it seems like people want a God of convenience. Bless you 🙏 and thank you for all you do for the Lord. I remember those days! My mama would hold revivals for weeks and my dad worked at a saw mill with my grandpa. We went every night and oh how God would move! It had to be God giving dad supernatural strength. I long for those kinds of services again! Same God but people have changed through the years.

This message pierced my heart. I’ve often found myself envious of the legacy you have been given and that you live in the Bible Belt with such a tremendous support system. That hasn’t been my journey. I’m first generation believer and even after coming to faith and walking with the Lord I walked into sin and it greatly affected my children. Ive been the woman that didn’t dress appropriately for church. I’m still dealing with the consequences years later and it hurts every day that I’m no longer with their father. I know I still have time to turn it around and leave a legacy they can be proud of. I praise God that despite my shortcomings, they are all walking with the Lord.
Feel like a failure as a mother. 2 of my 3 kids don't speak to me for the past 5 years. 😢 Leaving a Bible behind for them is a beautiful gift! The gift of a lifetime. Thank you!

I have three daughters by birth and many others who call me mom. My last daughter already took one of my Bibles. She borrowed it and never returned it. That was my most marked-up Bible. I have other Bibles but my phone is like my Bible with the Youversion app that I use daily as well as my journals. These are the greatest inheritance I have for them and will be the greatest treasures they will have after I'm gone. I make it intentional to leave prayers and messages in them. Miss Precious Karen. I have watched this twice now. All your FPF messages reach me deeply. This one touches my mama heart in a way like no other. My precious special needs adult son Christopher left us tragically on 11-10-22. Jesus welcomes him home into his Love and Freedom from seizures..autism.. the chains the enemy would have used to defeat him, and me as well. BUT GOD taught me how to PRAY when he was just 8 years old. I have been heartbroken and lonely for him every minute of every day. He was the joy and love of my life (aside from Jesus, first). This message hits me as I have written in my Bible all the places the Lord spoke to me about my Christopher over the years. Thank you for sharing and the MAY THE FATHER bless your family and your RAMP children for all You have sown into each and every one of those children’s lives. I love you sister. After 23 years as a physical therapist, God orchestrated a plan for me to begin teaching in a physical therapy program at a local college. When I began this new job, God spoke to me through dreams about how these students needed a mother figure to help them not only through our program but also through life. I thank God each year that I have a new group of 24 students, because I know God has chosen them to cross paths with me for a reason. With my children grown, God knew I would need these students to encourage me as much as they might need encouraged by me. God is so good!
My heart is about as full as I could ever imagine!! Katiegrace my 18 year old just talked to me for 2 hours. She genuinely asked Jesus into her life. There is a light and life in her eyes that I have NEVER seen before! I’ve been praying since November that God would open her spiritual eyes to see the demonic forces against her. She has seen them since November and today surrendered to Jesus, repented and anointed her own stuff casting the enemy out of her space. Praise the Lord!!!
Oh, how I often yearn for a faith- filled family like yours, and yet God reminds me to day of my praying grandmother. Even though I did not have a great relationship with her, I know that she prayed for me and had brought me to the place I am today - loving the Lord and being used by Him! For those of you or there that do not have the legacy that Miss Karen has, know that God loves you and has a plan and a purpose for you life.

I loved what you said about your grandmother, that she always took a picture with her Bible. I do love my Bible! After all it is a letter from my Heavenly Father. What a gift from God! What more could we ask for?. Every answer we need in life is in there. I can never be hopeless if God is with me and I can read His Words and hear His Voice. I am believing for my precious daughter Mallory to turn back to God, and allow me to be her mother again. I how she needs true love in her life.

It made me pause to reflect on my faithful Mother and Grandmothers and Great Grandmothers on both sides of my family. My Grandmother (my Mother’s Mother) Anna Barnaba, was born and raised in Italy. In her elder years she shared a bedroom with me while I was growing up. Nightly without fail, i could hear her from across the room, in the dark as she would whisper the full Rosary (She was Catholic) with the Rosary beads woven through her small soft hands. I’m certain that her nightly prayer whispers are what got our Family through many difficult times, Amen! I have her Rosary Beads 📿 And even though I was raised Catholic, I turned away from that in 2006 and became a Born Again Believer, Baptized Christian in 2015 My Dad’s Family were also Catholic on one side. The other side l had a long line of very strict Quakers, boy would I love to have one of their Bibles! They Built the First Quaker Church and School in Shinn’s Town, now known as Shinnston WV. All wonderful examples of leading Family members to Jesus, Amen 🙏🏻💙🙏🏻 So Blessed we all are. My MDay prayer is for my Prodigals to return home to God, as they were raised, and to return to me, their Mother. It’s been several years. I miss them terribly and my precious Granddaughters too. They’re being raised with no God. Tragic dreary lives. God save them all 🙏🏻💙🙏🏻

Great Expectations, my Christian husband of 48 years left me for a younger woman in 2014. I was devastated. Gradually the Lord restored me and I prayed diligently for him and had the church and friends pray for him. At that time he was very bitter, angry and delusional. Would not even discuss the instructions from the Bible, but maintained that he was righteous in Jesus while living in sin. In 2017 he wanted to come home, which was an answer to my prayers! Today he is tender hearted and anxious to please me and restored to Christ. I hope this is encouraging to you. Pray diligently for him, get others to come along beside you and don't lose heart.

I was so moved by this. Thought I was gonna listen to it while I ate my lunch today but I couldn’t eat for crying. One of those moments where eating was instantly no longer my priority. Brother Larry Pollard was my spiritual father and also the one that led many members of my family to the Lord years ago. I had the privilege of moving my precious grandmother into my home and taking care of her for the last year of her life and so many things you said about your mother and grandmothers really resonated with me. She went to be with the Lord 11/15/22 and I am still finding treasures in her collection of bibles. She wore several bibles out and used the tattered pieces of pages that had fallen out as bookmarks in other bibles. She was widowed for more years than she was married and was the most content person in God I’ve ever seen. She was in love with Jesus. She lived on her own until age 94 when she came to live with me. I used to go to her apartment and she would say “If anybody overheard me talking to Jesus, they would think I had a man in here!” LOL! Oh what a mark she made on our lives. She described meeting Jesus for the first time as experiencing “liquid love” and everytime she shared the story, it was like re-living it all over again. When I was little, she prayed that I would sing and play piano and praise God, I’m still doing it today. She was a true worshipper and she so perfectly modeled that for us and I will never get over the goodness of God and how He has so blessed us through the lives of these powerful women. My heart’s desire is to see Mamaw’s legacy, which is simply her testimony of Jesus, continue to be carried out for generations to come. I declare that my daughter, Jenna, will produce even greater fruit in her own life by following those old paths and teaching her children to do the same in Jesus name. Proverbs 11:30 says “He who wins souls is wise.” Lord help us to become increasingly wise in these last days, reaching the lost like never before. Karen, the joy of the Lord that exudes from you is contagious and I am continually inspired by your passion toward the things of God and for His children. Oh the rewards that are awaiting you in Heaven! 👑

I had a fantastic Mother's Day. Prayer was answered and my oldest son who has not called me in over 5 years called yesterday. God gave me the words and it was a good almost 20 minute conversation. Wonderful to hear the stories you shared, as I too remember my grandmother and mother who both clung to their Bibles daily, and I would often see my mother sitting at the kitchen table in the middle of night asleep over the Word. Precious are those memories and how I miss them both as I know you miss yours too. Our mothers were a gift from God to us and I would love nothing more than to leave my daughter my Bible with her name written all over it. Many a trials we go through, but with God all things are possible. Last year for me personally was a rough year fraught with much warfare coming from a place where I least expected. It took a toll on me physically and financially, and alot of crying and praying and thank God for intercessors and those who just happened to come my way to pray. Please pray for me in asking the Lord to heal my latest diagnosis and pray for my children to remain steadfast in God's Word. When I was praying for my prodigal son, the Lord led me to "Isaiah 49:24-25 ESV [24] Can the prey be taken from the mighty, or the captives of a tyrant be rescued? [25] For thus says the Lord: “Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken, and the prey of the tyrant be rescued, for I will contend with those who contend with you, and I will save your children!" I declare this over him when I pray for him. I am confident that HE WILL SAVE my son! Praise God for His sweet Book! ❤

My mama was a mighty woman of God..she went to be with Jesus 3 years ago unexpectedly however out of 7 kids we all got one of her many bibles..The one I have has notes just like yours do and I gave my heart back to Jesus when she passed so when I'm reading her old Bible or even come across notes within it I'm amazed how it's EXACTLY what I needed to hear..I often sit and thank God that she was obedient when these were written not knowing 1 day I'd be getting encouraged by the words..She always dated things which I do as well..Thank you Ms Karen Happy Mothers day..love u

I thank you for your encouraging words, especially when I need to hear something and I come to your site. Many times it was exactly what I needed to hear as an answer to my own life and what I am facing and in some ways continuing {at the present time}. Some day I pray I will visit your Mill House. For it is an awesome place!!! My mom was the only person who would pray {alone} I learned it was her way to become strong and face 10 years of fighting cancer. I want my son to remember me as some of what the Bible says in Proverbs 31 starting at verse 10. Being a single mother for most of his life that if anything through everything that I loved God very much! I enjoyed hearing you speak of the women of God in your family. What a legacy! Praying for my son who was a Prodigal and his new wife who is also pregnant with their first baby boy due in October that God will continue to work in their lives and that they will run into his open arms and walk and talk with him daily. They have had some rough patches and the devil has gone after them both hard trying to rip them apart but I am fighting for them on my knees trusting God with everything within me that God will show himself to both of them and they will continue to seek out the Godly wisdom of our Pastor. What am I believing for? For my two daughters, to have the desire and will to seek and follow Christ. The world and its pleasures have really got them off track. Karen, you will never know the spiritual legacy that you are leaving for us, but I want to share this with you. My 12 year old son is sometimes around when I listen to your FPF posts and your other preaching, but he was particularly upset after an awful incident at school. My husband is in recovery from tongue cancer and various other things had just built up. I held him tight and said "Let's pray, let's bring all of this to Jesus" My son replied "Yes Mum, and after, can you and I go listen to Karen Wheaton?" Surprised that he even knew your name, he said "I feel peace when she is speaking and I like seeing Palmer" I had no idea he was paying attention. Now he listens weekly. Thank you so much for your witness and faithfulness to share the word with us. Blessings

My mother is in the hospital with what the Dr says is incurable. But my God is bigger, and he already confirmed with me that he is going to heal her so this mothers day I am at the hospital digging deep into the word and waiting for God to heal her in his time! Amen thank u Jesus!

Hallelujah Karen!!! I had no heritage of family that followed Jesus. But Jesus saved me while I was in college and I have been on the Jesus journey ever since!! As I continue to grow and walk with my Lord…..I never cease to be amazed at how He constantly shows me His truths. I watch my one and only child, my daughter Sarah, as she has and is growing in her walk with Jesus. I asked God years ago to break the cycles in my heritage that were so destructive to my mother and grandmothers, and He has been so faithful to me. And I see how God has and is answering that prayer in so many ways. My daughter is such an amazing mother, and she is overcoming a heritage that didnt include God in their lives. Praise God for His redemptive power…….we now have a Godly heritage to pass on to our children and grandchildren. I am forever grateful and in awe of God for this amazing gift.
Praying all my children will come back to the lord and all my grandchildren will know him too Amen
After 3 years of very minimal contact. My husband came over to visit me. My husband answered questions I had and I didn't have to ask him. It was a pure miracle from the Lord. I'm so thankful for this visit. I continue to pray for him to come to his senses and come back to God. As of now i keep my eyes on the Lord to see where he is taking me now in this new season. When I got home from the Dallas, Texas conference, I kept saying I'm believing for movement in the spiritual realm and the natural and it happened. Thank you Jesus! I miss the old days too. I remember when we wouldn't get home from church sometimes till after 12 at night or later and we had to go to school the next day and my daddy had to go to work but we didn't care. As long as God was moving ,we stayed and moved with Him. Those were the days. Now days it seems like people want a God of convenience. Bless you 🙏 and thank you for all you do for the Lord. I remember those days! My mama would hold revivals for weeks and my dad worked at a saw mill with my grandpa. We went every night and oh how God would move!
It had to be God giving dad supernatural strength. I long for those kinds of services again! Same God but people have changed through the years.

This message pierced my heart. I’ve often found myself envious of the legacy you have been given and that you live in the Bible Belt with such a tremendous support system. That hasn’t been my journey. I’m first generation believer and even after coming to faith and walking with the Lord I walked into sin and it greatly affected my children. Ive been the woman that didn’t dress appropriately for church. I’m still dealing with the consequences years later and it hurts every day that I’m no longer with their father. I know I still have time to turn it around and leave a legacy they can be proud of. I praise God that despite my shortcomings, they are all walking with the Lord.
I pray for my children, nieces and nephews and future grandchildren to walk with God. To live humble lives devoted to God and His will.
Feel like a failure as a mother. 2 of my 3 kids don't speak to me for the past 5 years. 😢 Leaving a Bible behind for them is a beautiful gift! The gift of a lifetime. Thank you!

I have three daughters by birth and many others who call me mom. My last daughter already took one of my Bibles. She borrowed it and never returned it. That was my most marked-up Bible. I have other Bibles but my phone is like my Bible with the Youversion app that I use daily as well as my journals. These are the greatest inheritance I have for them and will be the greatest treasures they will have after I'm gone. I make it intentional to leave prayers and messages in them. Thanks Miss Karen for sharing your great grandmother's and grandmother's legacy with us.
Miss Precious Karen. I have watched this twice now. All your FPF messages reach me deeply. This one touches my mama heart in a way like no other. My precious special needs adult son Christopher left us tragically on 11-10-22. Jesus welcomes him home into his Love and Freedom from seizures..autism.. the chains the enemy would have used to defeat him, and me as well. BUT GOD taught me how to PRAY when he was just 8 years old. I have been heartbroken and lonely for him every minute of every day. He was the joy and love of my life (aside from Jesus, first). This message hits me as I have written in my Bible all the places the Lord spoke to me about my Christopher over the years. After 23 years as a physical therapist, God orchestrated a plan for me to begin teaching in a physical therapy program at a local college. When I began this new job, God spoke to me through dreams about how these students needed a mother figure to help them not only through our program but also through life. I thank God each year that I have a new group of 24 students, because I know God has chosen them to cross paths with me for a reason. With my children grown, God knew I would need these students to encourage me as much as they might need encouraged by me. God is so good!

Katiegrace my 18 year old just talked to me for 2 hours. She genuinely asked Jesus into her life. There is a light and life in her eyes that I have NEVER seen before!
I’ve been praying since November that God would open her spiritual eyes to see the demonic forces against her. She has seen them since November and today surrendered to Jesus, repented and anointed her own stuff casting the enemy out of her space.

Oh, how I often yearn for a faith- filled family like yours, and yet God reminds me to day of my praying grandmother. Even though I did not have a great relationship with her, I know that she prayed for me and had brought me to the place I am today - loving the Lord and being used by Him! For those of you or there that do not have the legacy that Miss Karen has, know that God loves you and has a plan and a purpose for you life.

I loved what you said about your grandmother, that she always took a picture with her Bible. I do love my Bible! After all it is a letter from my Heavenly Father. What a gift from God! What more could we ask for?. Every answer we need in life is in there. I can never be hopeless if God is with me and I can read His Words and hear His Voice.
I am believing for my precious daughter Mallory to turn back to God, and allow me to be her mother again. I how she needs true love in her life.

It made me pause to reflect on my faithful Mother and Grandmothers and Great Grandmothers on both sides of my family.
My Grandmother (my Mother’s Mother) Anna Barnaba, was born and raised in Italy.
In her elder years she shared a bedroom with me while I was growing up. Nightly without fail, i could hear her from across the room, in the dark as she would whisper the full Rosary (She was Catholic) with the Rosary beads woven through her small soft hands.
I’m certain that her nightly prayer whispers are what got our Family through many difficult times, Amen! I have her Rosary Beads 📿 And even though I was raised Catholic, I turned away from that in 2006 and became a Born Again Believer, Baptized Christian in 2015
My Dad’s Family were also Catholic on one side. The other side l had a long line of very strict Quakers, boy would I love to have one of their Bibles!
They Built the First Quaker Church and School in Shinn’s Town, now known as Shinnston WV.
All wonderful examples of leading Family members to Jesus, Amen 🙏🏻💙🙏🏻 So Blessed we all are.
My MDay prayer is for my Prodigals to return home to God, as they were raised, and to return to me, their Mother.
It’s been several years. I miss them terribly and my precious Granddaughters too. They’re being raised with no God. Tragic dreary lives.

Great Expectations, my Christian husband of 48 years left me for a younger woman in 2014. I was devastated. Gradually the Lord restored me and I prayed diligently for him and had the church and friends pray for him. At that time he was very bitter, angry and delusional. Would not even discuss the instructions from the Bible, but maintained that he was righteous in Jesus while living in sin. In 2017 he wanted to come home, which was an answer to my prayers! Today he is tender hearted and anxious to please me and restored to Christ. I hope this is encouraging to you. Pray diligently for him, get others to come along beside you and don't lose heart.

I was so moved by this. Thought I was gonna listen to it while I ate my lunch today but I couldn’t eat for crying. One of those moments where eating was instantly no longer my priority. Brother Larry Pollard was my spiritual father and also the one that led many members of my family to the Lord years ago. I had the privilege of moving my precious grandmother into my home and taking care of her for the last year of her life and so many things you said about your mother and grandmothers really resonated with me. She went to be with the Lord 11/15/22 and I am still finding treasures in her collection of bibles. She wore several bibles out and used the tattered pieces of pages that had fallen out as bookmarks in other bibles. She was widowed for more years than she was married and was the most content person in God I’ve ever seen. She was in love with Jesus. She lived on her own until age 94 when she came to live with me. I used to go to her apartment and she would say “If anybody overheard me talking to Jesus, they would think I had a man in here!” LOL! Oh what a mark she made on our lives. She described meeting Jesus for the first time as experiencing “liquid love” and everytime she shared the story, it was like re-living it all over again. When I was little, she prayed that I would sing and play piano and praise God, I’m still doing it today. She was a true worshipper and she so perfectly modeled that for us and I will never get over the goodness of God and how He has so blessed us through the lives of these powerful women. My heart’s desire is to see Mamaw’s legacy, which is simply her testimony of Jesus, continue to be carried out for generations to come. I declare that my daughter, Jenna, will produce even greater fruit in her own life by following those old paths and teaching her children to do the same in Jesus name. Proverbs 11:30 says “He who wins souls is wise.” Lord help us to become increasingly wise in these last days, reaching the lost like never before. Karen, the joy of the Lord that exudes from you is contagious and I am continually inspired by your passion toward the things of God and for His children. Oh the rewards that are awaiting you in Heaven! 👑

I had a fantastic Mother's Day. Prayer was answered and my oldest son who has not called me in over 5 years called yesterday. God gave me the words and it was a good almost 20 minute conversation. Precious are those memories and how I miss them both as I know you miss yours too. Our mothers were a gift from God to us and I would love nothing more than to leave my daughter my Bible with her name written all over it. Many a trials we go through, but with God all things are possible. Last year for me personally was a rough year fraught with much warfare coming from a place where I least expected. It took a toll on me physically and financially, and alot of crying and praying and thank God for intercessors and those who just happened to come my way to pray. Please pray for me in asking the Lord to heal my latest diagnosis and pray for my children to remain steadfast in God's Word. Thank you for sharing your stories of your loved ones and I pray that my children will continue to serve the Lord and walk with Him daily. Have yourself a wonderful Mother's Day! 🙏🏻

I love that idea about leaving our bibles for our children. I do have my bible/bibles written and highlighted but not specified for my children. I have told my chdren to make sure they keep all my journals that are filled with my lifetime journey with the Lord. God Bless you!! ❤
When I was praying for my prodigal son, the Lord led me to "Isaiah 49:24-25 ESV
[24] Can the prey be taken from the mighty, or the captives of a tyrant be rescued? [25] For thus says the Lord: “Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken, and the prey of the tyrant be rescued, for I will contend with those who contend with you, and I will save your children!"
I declare this over him when I pray for him. I am confident that HE WILL SAVE my son! Praise God for His sweet Book! ❤

Praying for my whole family, for their salvation, for them to come to know the Lord, praying that they see me on my knees praying for them and their children. Praying for softening of my husband's heart. Praying that my children, grandchildren, and some great grandchildren will all serve the Lord. My mama was a mighty woman of God..she went to be with Jesus 3 years ago unexpectedly however out of 7 kids we all got one of her many bibles..The one I have has notes just like yours do and I gave my heart back to Jesus when she passed so when I'm reading her old Bible or even come across notes within it I'm amazed how it's EXACTLY what I needed to hear..I often sit and thank God that she was obedient when these were written not knowing 1 day I'd be getting encouraged by the words..She always dated things which I do as well..Thank you Ms Karen Happy Mothers day..love u

My Mom read to me everyday till I was 14 I remember so well my mom anb dad passed 2yers ago I thank GOD for the mother God gave me planted that seed in my heart as a child. AMEN GOD IS IN CONTROL 17:38

Karen, It spoke to me. I pray my son and daughter to know God Jesus so deeply and intimately as I am. I thank you for your encouraging words, especially when I need to hear something and I come to your site. Many times it was exactly what I needed to hear as an answer to my own life and what I am facing and in some ways continuing {at the present time}. Some day I pray I will visit your Mill House. For it is an awesome place!!! My mom was the only person who would pray {alone} I learned it was her way to become strong and face 10 years of fighting cancer. Praying for my son who was a Prodigal and his new wife who is also pregnant with their first baby boy due in October that God will continue to work in their lives and that they will run into his open arms and walk and talk with him daily. They have had some rough patches and the devil has gone after them both hard trying to rip them apart but I am fighting for them on my knees trusting God with everything within me that God will show himself to both of them and they will continue to seek out the Godly wisdom of our Pastor. What am I believing for? For my two daughters, to have the desire and will to seek and follow Christ. The world and its pleasures have really got them off track. For every fibre of their being, their minds to be aligned to Christ. That as their mother I will be a consistent, godly example. Thank you. 🙏🏾🙏🏾
