lol, it couldn’t be a net cover up or something overly exposing skin on the bottom half. I guess that is so people’s “rear ends” wouldn’t be directly touching the chair in the dining areas.

Would you recommend this hotel for taking advantage of alcoholic drinks? In terms of partying, what time does the hotel shut down every day
The drinks were ok. The best drinks were made by the bar in the main entrance. I honestly don’t remember times but I think maybe around 12 ish. They didn’t really have any clubs mostly night entertainment or events.

Hello, yes I would recommend it. It’s a beautiful property. It was still fairly new when I went so there were not a lot of people. The food was pretty ok. I like the specialty restaurants food better than the buffet food restaurant.
@terrythomas2798 Noooooooo don't do it. Cartagena is beautiful but this resort is not it. No way it is a 5 star. You would be better off staying in the city at a hotel like Movich or The Bastion and then come here on a day pass if you can. This is a refurbished hotel and you can see that in many areas. The food is not good. Room service is inconsistent. I can go on and on. Don't do it. 😢
this resort is completely out of the way and you do not experience the real Cartagena being here. It's difficult to get cabs to take you here as well. You should stay in either the Walled City, Getsemani, Bocagrande or El Laguito . Anything else is too out of the way, pls many people get food poisoning eating here.
Overall would you come back to this hotel? I’m looking for somewhere to go other than DR

I will never been tired of my beautiful island DR ... but like to travel to other places , PR, costa rica, ecuador,saint martten, , bahamas, want to try cartagena and jamaica
Hello! So I’ve stayed at Secrets resorts and there is always a stand in the lobby or somewhere in the resort where you can book excursions. Was there anything like that at this resort? I’m kind of leery when having to book outside of the resort or online
Hello! Yes, there is a location in the main lobby where you can book excursions but the people are only there for a few hours in the morning. That’s how I was able to book my volcano excursions.
Is it close from the clubs
Not too far , it about a 15-20 min drive
How was the beach ?
I didn’t get a chance to go to the main beach. I only went to the private beach at the resort and I enjoyed it.
This is a horrible hotel with a bad case of ecoli infestation. I stayed there a year ago was sick for a whole month lost so much weight.
A year later a group of friends stayed they all got sick
