1. What was something that you once started enthusiastically, but were later strongly tempted to quit (and maybe even did)? If so, what led you to quit? In not, what kept you hanging in there?
2. When times are hard, what keeps you from junking your faith and going on to something else?
3. How do people today ignore the Holy Spirit within, ignore the leading of God, and attempt to make Jesus into an errand boy to meet their own personal agendas? In what ways have you been tempted to do so?
