hi mekenze I have been in Mombasa Kenya as a merchant Mariner and never had the opportunity to see and know much of what Kenya has to offer so I am thanking you for allowing me through your what's app blogging to know as much as I do at this point about Kenya great job keep it up!
I love your routine, it gives the kids independence, structure, lots of outdoor and play-time, education, and calmth. Many families have such a rushed chaotic lifestyle, that’s really not my thing. I love watching yours. May I ask, what homeschool curriculum do you use? Thank you and have a wonderful day
Aw thanks so much for the thoughtful comment. I also love a slow and intentional lifestyle. Rushing is not my thing.
We use a US based homeschool curriculum called Bright Thinkers.

From the morning routine till the last part of the evening routine I believe it's every mother's/ parents waking up to beautiful daily and seeing their kids for the day.its only the best feelings that every mother to her kids do understand better than anyone. There is nothing more beautiful and precious in this world than raising afamily. Agreat idea for outdoor area for meat roasting n ofcos having that cup of tea or natural juice. Your ducks need a pond, water. They are not usually animals that live in a tiny enclosed area without somewhere to swim. They will not flourish the way they are living. Please relocate them to water.

your life is so structured & your kids so obedient & quiet. I like to see childrens spontaneity, highjinks, laughter & joking with others. I suspect you are both very perfectionist parents who demand respect at all times. However, its not fair to judge from 1 or 2 vlogs so I hope to see more with your children being kids !

when u can u can put down gravel (quarter minus size ) in the yard/compound that will cut down on the mud during the rainy season and also install a camp ground style shower for them to wash off before coming indoors, thanks for keeping us updated and showing a different side of Africa instead of the Sunday morning NGO informercials of always dying African kids, greetings from Canada.

I often go home to Mabeskraal, a village in South africa .
The mornings,days and evenings are just so lovely.
Mornings there are sounds from the roosters 🐓 and birds...just beautiful.
During the day you see cattle,goats and other farm animals going to the stream to drink water.
Evenings; in the distance you will hear a jackals wailing !
Did I mention the wooden fire we make for cooking.
Talk of a wonderful life!!!!

I love to reflect in the morning before, the mind is bogged down by the busyness of the day, I also do my stretches and yoga at the same time. I hope you'll also put a roof kinda like a gazebo incase it rains, or hot sun, where you'll need a shade.

Awesome family life. I'm from 🇰🇪 and decided to raise my family in the 🇺🇸. Kinda opposite of what you guys are doing. Sometimes I wonder how my family life would have turned out if I made a different decision. I miss Kenyan coffee. It's not as strong as some other ones like Columbian coffee.
It is interesting how life can take so many different paths depending on our individual choices. I’m sure you’ve had a great life with the choices you made with your family. There’s not only one right way.
