- For those who want to sing the song but don't know Japanese, I present: "No Sleep Until Clear"

I took a translation of the original Japanese lyrics, rewrote them into singable English, sang them, and synced it up with the original music video. I used Garageband and iMovie.
The original song is by Team Nekokan.

I am aware that the opening line actually translates to mean something about the singer going back and playing Mega Man 1 after already playing the other Mega Man games for the NES. This was a mistake in my translation. I apologize.
I originally made this video in November of 2010. I'm a girl, I was 24 at the time.

I've played both Mega Man 1 and 2 on the NES. I like them a lot. I can't speak for the Japanese person/people who wrote the original song, but I'm guessing they played them, too.
Don't know about MEGAMAN 11, or 3, 4, 5, even 8! Oh, and did I not mention 6, and 7?
Don't know if you ever check back here, but I been listening to this song and the airman song since you released them. Still two of my favorite songs on youtube. Thanks for the hard work, I have enjoyed it a hell of a lot.

Pfft. Air Man is fucking *Whispy Woods* compared to anything in Mega Man 1 (except Cut Man, Bomb Man and arguably Guts Man).

I'm noticing a pattern in these MM Nekokan songs, "I can't beat this part, I'll try something else, crap that's too hard too, aaaaaugh", and it really captures the core of the Megaman gameplay experience.
At some point when I get off my ass and start putting up song covers of my own, I'd really like to use these lyrics (perhaps slightly varied), that cool with you?

To beat the "Yellow Thing With One Eye" use the electric weapon and pause the game while its hitting it. That drains it's life so fast.

The translation isn't perfect, but is still good. You have a nice voice. Pretty good dub and I'm sure we won't get any better dubs since most people who know of the original artist are too busy uploading variations of "I can't defeat Airman".

Fun fact: Arceus is singing this, but instead of playing MegaMan 1, he's fighting alphamon, Jupitermon and lucemon FM, and loses every single freaking time, not to mention that he never reached their final form

Le me, when I am trying to write an OpenGL ES rendering back end for my own game.
And yes, I forwent sleep until I figured out exactly what I did wrong that yielded a big black rectangle of nothing instead of even the most rudimentary scene.
When i played MegaMan 1 i was said this "CANT BE DONE CANT BE DONE" Later in MegaMan powered up i had up in ALL of the bosse in my levels in full heath and i said this"No i searw to god i wil NEVER GAVE UP

For a fan dub it was good. At least you can sing without going out of key. Not saying my voice is any better. :P But my ear for pitch is very helpful.

It's very very good. My only gripe is that the vocals are a bit too loud in comparison to the rest of the song.

Japan's normal difficulty for Mega Man is America's hard mode, and the first game was pretty hard to begin with in easy mode from what i understand (haven't played it myself), so yeah, let that speak for itself, and stereotypes (even GOOD ones) aren't true most of the time, though the Japanese DO take gaming to a whole different level than most and challenge themselves more, so they're usually better gamers than other nationalities, and maybe they didn't know those things could be destroyed
when I play mega man 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 plus mega man and bass without rage quits (I think)

I loved the game too much to be frustrated. XD You're probably ahead of that part now but if you aren't, he always has the same pattern when he moves. I'm pretty sure the third jump is bigger than the first two.

no, it is OFFICIALLY stated, that the first Mega Man game was made easier than its Japanese counterpart, if you think that it's not easier, then maybe you're just very good at the game, so much so that you can't tell that the difficulty is different

Did you try the pause abuse technique? If you do it fast enough, you can use the Thunder Beam to shave up to 12 HP off of Yellow Devil.

Megaman 1 isn't hard to me. It's easier than 9 at least.
This in every way realates to when i back then couldnt do shit in MM so i skipped to MM2. When megaman Legacy Came out i tried to do guts man stage again . Failed. So i did Cutman then bomb man. some how doing those guys first gave me confidence to make it past the moving platforms. Fucking did it in one try after 29 fails , and 12 rage quits.

But then, Knight Man took me only a few minutes, and Centaur Man took a few seconds.
