When we came back north everything was also fine. Really the issue is the rain. We had a big storm during the night. Apparently, it is "normal" in case of heavy storm. Having say that, as soon as you leave the trans peninsular road are from bad to really bad. In Bahia we wanted to visit an old mission in the mountain and people told us "DO NOT GO even with a big truck.
